Cool! This felt kind of like StarFox. On that note, I think the game could have benefited from a 3rd person view - sometimes I had a hard time predicting how close obstacles and enemies could be flown past without clipping and I think being able to see your ship would alleviate that issue.
thank you for your kind words and taking the time to feedback - I wanted to try and get the "right in front of you" feeling as you dodge the obstacles and decided to go with the scanner (bottom centre) to help judge position, rather than 3rd person - but appreciate the feedback and will think about for next time - thank you !
Good job getting 3D in GMS2. I don't think the controls were very successful. For the keyboard control, I would not have split the horizontal controls from the vertical controls on the keyboard. This makes things so much more confusing, when the player should have no problems. On the mouse control, it didn't seem that much more fluid. The aiming reticle was not exactly where I moved my mouse. I think the game has potential if you can sort out the control issues though. Again, Good job!
Thank you for the kind words and feedback - this is the first game jam I've ever done and it's made me think about how important it is to make the controls easy to use for other people, I think I focused too much on touchscreen which is what I use. Sounds obvious but something learned :-)
I have uploaded a new version 2.1 with new mouse control, and think it gives a much smoother "flying feeling"
If you were able to find 2 minutes to re-download and feedback that would be really appreciated
(keys are what they are, thank you for the feedback !)
I was able to get another chance to play the game after your update, and I must say the controls (particularly with the mouse) worked very well for me. This time I got to level 2. I'm going to keep trying until I get to level 3. Again, great job on your game. It brings to mind flying down the death star in Star wars!!!
thank you so much for taking the time to play and give the feedback, appreciated :-)
Great stuff! - 3D in GMS, nice! - I found the default mouse sensitivity waaaaay too high, so ended up using QOAP-SPACE, but definitely feel like it would be easier to control via mouse if it way much less sensitive...
I feel it would definitely benefit from adding a sensitivity option to scale the mouse input, but as it is, it's fun, SILKY smooth, and reminds me of a cross between Star Wars and Star Fox - great stuff!
thank you ! really appreciate you playing and for the comments
I'm going to go back and revisit the key controls (I usually play it on Android with touchscreen controls), thank you for the feedback and for the idea on mouse sensitivity !
I have added a v2 with alternative key and mouse controls and a sensitivity setting, if you get the chance would be great for any feedback
Great stuff! - Will do! :)
EDIT: Just tested it, GREAT work! - especially allowing in-game sensitivity!
MUCH more playable now, great job! - and options like having mouse button to fire, makes it so much better... I've increased my 'FUN' rating as a result... :D
Well done!
thank you !
I played it on windows and it was impossible to control, the way you implemented 3d looks great and the control of the ship feels great, the only real problem is that you choose weird control keys, add some music and your game will rock!, good job!
thank you for playing , and the feedback is really helpful thanks, I'm going to add more control options and find some music to build the atmosphere :-)

This is pretty cool! I love the intro where you zoom down into the earth, and the gameplay was fun. I actually thought the controls were awesome and made it feel immersive like I was piloting a ship, but I can see how some players might prefer a WASD option or a mouse option. As for me, I'd always use the QAOP. It just gives the game a unique feel. Very nice work!
thank you !
QAOP works for me :-) but all feedback is greatly appreciated and I'm going to add more control options, thank you for playing !
It is hard to use the controls but it is crazy to play a 3d game when most games are 2d and it is extremely fun to play.
Thank you for playing and giving the feedback, appreciated !
I usually play it myself on a tablet (I have GM2 mobile license) using the touchscreen controls which is really smooth as you are flying around
Sounds like I need to look at the key controls for Windows again. Is it the smoothness, or you prefer a different combination WASD, arrow keys etc. ?
Thanks for the feedback :-)

Looks interesting! =)
It is inconvenient to play, the controls are not familiar and not convenient (for me, at least). Not enough music.
At some point, I felt like Skywalker flying at the Death Star. =)
Thanks for playing the game and for giving the feedback !
Really pleased re the feeling of Skywalker attacking the Death Star - I'll take that as the highest compliment :-)
Point taken on more music, I'll look to add more in the future, thanks for the feedback.
Good luck with your submission too
Thank you for your wish. I hope to read your review too ;)

Okay. As soon as the opportunity arises, I will definitely launch it.
I tried the new version, it is played more vigorously, better. Most likely, this is how you conceived control focusing on a specific experience or game, therefore in similar games that I tried, usually control of the mouse sight, and the direction of flight with the buttons on the keyboard.
thank you !
