Fun game :) Could do with some more player feedback (like showing when I hover the right place to place a tower), allow player to start the game after reading the instructions and balancing. I seemed to have found the one optimal strategy at my first try:
[Blue][Green][Orange]

[Blue][Green][Orange]
Then I just upgraded each tower when I could. Ended up with a score of 20.000 before I got bored :)
I also couldn't figure out what "Power" was and the impact it had. Overall it felt like a good game though.
Ah I thought the difficulty was growing much higher over time. Thank you for your feedback! Yeah I had a really limited time on my hands, lots of things could have been improved.
I am not good at these kinds of games haha, still neat though. Could use more effects indicating which turret is hitting which enemy and whether the enemies get stronger and if they do have some visual indication of that. I couldn't get a good idea of how effective a turret is based on its level.
Thank you for your feedback! Indeed if I had time I would have implemented projectiles to help understanding that. Even more visual feedback is always better, but might be out of scope of a game jam ;)
Fun, but seems to become too easy once you get a few turrets up.
Yeah it's too easy at the start and too hard at some point, the difficulty is linear and without any waves rythm. I would have loved to add that if I had the time :)
lvl 7 across the board :) fun jam game
Happy that you liked it!
This is slightly addicting in the way that idle games generally are. I think a "main menu" or at least a play button would have helped me get my bearings quicker at the start, and would force users to focus the game window.
Yeah I agree about the menu I was really out of time!
Its a bit sad there isnt yet any easier way to create UI in bevy. Bevy egui is fine and all, but it is limited :)
I would have liked to do it in bevy UI but I had not enough time left!
It could use some indication of different waves to give a better sense of progression.
Yeah definitely thank you for your feedback!
I would have liked to have a wave system rather than the linear progression. I had boss waves, colored waves, long and steady ones vs shorter burst, etc But of course I had not enough time
