Good bones on this one! High-inertia platforming felt good, and the sprite art is really excellent. Ran really smoothly as well. Keep building!

Gah! On Linux (Garuda) after the first run of the game I was not able to move the cursor in the menu nor press enter to start the game. Frustrating, will give it another go later after a reboot. Can't rate it right now, simply.

Being a wheel in a platformer is kinda neat, reminds me of sonic a bit. Would be interesting to add slopes and maybe chasms you have to clear.

I like the movement, having to deal with momentum in platformers is always pretty fun. I have no idea how you would be able to progress without being able to climb the broken ladders unless there were walljumps/climbs or something, but then that just makes it a puzzle platformer, which is also good

Not sure if going to the light was the goal... I'll say it was and declare victory !

The game is supposed to say Game Over if you won. Because that's a lazy way to not have to do a separate screen. Yes, reaching the lighter area is supposed to be a "win" (or, really, was supposed to be the rest of the game).

Not sure what the goal is but the sprites are quite good.
The wheel is annoyingly hard to slow down.

Apparently rapier has a kinematic controller but I didn't have time to explore this, this was the first time I used rapier. So dynamic impulse based controller it is. Which, of course, is easy to program and annoying to play 🙄

Turns out controlling a spinning circle is quite fun! The artstyle is also very charming. I reminds me of some very fondly remembered classics like Cave Story :) I’m a bit confused as to what the goal is, however. If I climb up, I get a game over, but if I stay below, the level seems to loop forever?

Yes it's old school Game Over. That literally means the game is over (not that you lost) 😅

Hehe, I see :)
