I got $15 from a 25-second gravity-defying stunt :) (I slid down a wall for 25 seconds)

The bicycle controller is fun, and the map is pretty nice. I would have liked a little more oomph and chaos (rocket boost? destructible objects? etc.), and maybe some reward for “breaking” the game, like some cash or a powerup on the roof of a building. The game is already very complete for 9 days of work, though.

Big fan of the graphics, the style is clean, consistent, and charming. Loved the speed and gamefeel, the feeling of "exploiting" a physics system is underutilized in games broadly I think (as someone who spent all my time in Skyrim trying to wiggle a horse up the mountains instead of progressing the story). I spent a good while trying to find which obstacles in this game had the greatest chaos potential (central alleyway dumpster in my case). FOV warping was a really nice touch :).

I'd like to cycle as fast in real life ... but maybe is a little more control !

Nicely done, though I had some difficulty with turning to fast at high speed.

yay i got 39.300003$

Developer(+1)

The 0.000003 were a tip ;)

GTA cycling mailman, I was in the character in the end, rushing through the streets!

My bike got airborne for about 10s at one point because I hit a traffic cone, perfect :)

This was fun, it took a bit to get hang of the steering but once I did I scraped through the $35 with out 0.3s to spare.

Cool to see some a 3d game bevy that runs very well for me in the browser.

Charming, knocking into small object for extra time was an inspired choice, it added character in the best way

Wow very well made, great graphics. Super nice job.

No jump button :(

Developer(+2)

Driving into the props is the jump button :D

It's a lot of fun, I want moooreee, more stunts, more maps, more NPCS, more quests, full AAA title release when? ᕙ(^▿^-ᕙ)

Developer(+1)

Aww thanks, that’s such a nice thing to say :) I’m also quite happy with how it turned out :D

Submitted(+1)

Stunt time! This is awesome 😂 I won on first try but just barely enough, this was well balanced (pun intended).

Developer

That’s great to hear! Balancing was very tricky considering that we quickly knew the map by heart, so I was worried we would be way off :D

I managed to get to the top of the building but forgot to screenshot! Would be cool to include some ramps or whatnot for performing stunts! Nice game overall!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! I agree, some ramps, stunts and overall more verticality in the map could be fun :)

Developer(+1)

Fun fact: the cars were originally supposed to be ramps, but that required changed the max climbing angle, which made the physics even jankier to an extreme level, so I had to leave it out. But yes, I’d love some ramps, maybe even with speed boosts :D

I managed to get onto the roof of one of the buildings! Was this inspired by the crazy eats mini-game in Yakuza 8?

Developer

Hehe, nice job! The bike climbing things and flying in the air was originally unintenional, but it made movement more fun and chaotic, so we decided not to patch it.

I wasn't aware of that minigame! The game was partially inspired by Crazy Taxi :)

Developer

Looks like this comment got duplicated somehow, so I deleted the copy :)

The alternating AD makes you feel like you're actually riding a bike

Developer

Hehe, thanks. We didn’t have enough time to add sound effects or camera movement to the pedaling, so I’m glad the effect still holds up.

This is such an amazing physics system. The 3D is really incredible, the controls are funny but not difficult, the music is very fitting, and most importantly: stunt meter!

Just an additional idea or I guess what would take this game even further is adding simulated traffic to create hazards (or perhaps some cool stunts). Really well done though, amazing job!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a bunch! Agreed, traffic would be cool! And hidden pickups for extra time and money as a reward for exploring :)

I never was this excited about doing chorish work before! Really sweet idea and nice game world. The game is pretty well executed. Kudos!

Developer

Thank you so much :)

The tunnel is a trap!! Very fun game though :) I've always wanted to experience the pizza delivery driver feeling.

And a awesome physics engine you made!

Developer

Hehe, yeah, you do get kinda stuck in it because of the turning physics ;) But you usually also get a free stunt out of it, so it evens out :D

This is so much fuuuuun! :]

Developer

Glad you like it <3
