I liked it! and yes, I'm a HUGE fan of platformer games.
although I felt like I should tell you that I walked into a banana by mistake, thus removing my double jump ability and making it impossible to continue the level with only a regular jump, as a result, I had to reload the level each time that happened.
Overall, I think it's a solid game! good job!

Very interesting game! I think this has quite some potential. The controls are simple and most stuff is pretty straight forward which is nice. Switching the fruits with an interval also allows for different solutions or paths, even though I found myself in a few soft lock situations because of that.

At the core of this game is an interesting dea. It was exciting when the gravity flipped and I felt like I was in for more bizarre surprises. The controls feel good, and the sound and art all work well together. When I reached the area where "I wouldn't be able to leave so easy" or whatever, I felt a big spike in difficulty and the unfortunate experience of colliding with the side of spike that appeared to many pixels away from the player sprite. I did not make it past this area, but I can tell there was a lot of thought and effort put it into. Good idea and good entry!

Hey there! First of all thank you so much giving our game a try. And yes, we agree with you about the difficulty spikes and so do a lot of our friend's who tried this game for us. And for that we have pushed a new version which gets rid of the tiny spikes on the edges and a few tweaks here and there in other levels for better flow of the game. This should enable a more "less pain in the ass" playthrough. :D

Once again, thanks.

Cool topic and always fun to try some celeste-inspired games! Not sure if there's something I'm missing, but I'm pretty sure the level that starts on a risen platform, where you then have to jump to two colliding enemies /w banana in the middle is impossible. Either you take an apple and can get to the last section /w the bed, or you take the banana and the edge on the platform never gives you the right space to take the elevator up to the bed.

Developer

Hey thanks for trying out our game. I will address the problems you are facing:

1- The colliding enemies with the banana in the middle was fine till we panic pushed a player movement tweak to make the player move in a certain manner. Right now, with the build, I found out double jumping then applying movement to the left and right gives you more space and yes, we know its annoying and we are sorry.....
2. I'm guessing you are referring to the tower level. I just woke up (Upload time was at 4am for me cuz of time differences lol) and found out we forgot to add the final ending scene to the level. Can clearly see the last minute panic building. We completely derped out. I updated the build now, if anyone wants to give it a second try.

Once again, thanks for everyone trying out our game. It's our first time meeting each other and also a first game jam for most of us. It was a fun experience through and through.
