How does your game represent Mode?
Approach Mode is a real-time management game where you play the role of a busy air traffic controller. Clear your aircrafts to take off, guide them to land, direct them to the destination...and most of all, please don't let them crash!! Test your ATC skills in two distinctive maps with different runway settings and various upgrade options!

So the first phase that came into our minds was "flight mode". Then it became "civil aviation related" and then became "approach mode", which is how aircrafts approach and fly around the airport to establish a firm landing on the runway. Ultimately we made this minimetro style ATC simulator where you give aircrafts directions and tell them how to take off & land.

Plane go here. I am sure this route will work. Super fun trying to make all of the planes not crash.

Very nice game you have here. The concept of controlling air traffic is creative on it's own, but bundled with a great execution, I'm surprised not more people have rated this game.

9.7/10 (in game jam standards).

Great work on this! Conducting air traffic is a great idea for a management game and you did it wonderfully here. I love the voice lines and the colorful and minimalist aesthetic you've chosen. This was quite fun and really well made, nice job!

I liked the slowness, I thought the excellent sound design filled up the down time

What have I learned? No one should trust me to direct traffic.

I agree with what people have said, it's super fun but it feels a tad slow.

Really clean and well executed. Definitely a smooth metro-like. Good job!

really enjoyable game, i could play something like this for a long time. i did start feeling like the default speed was a little slow, the speed up was a great addition

Really clean game, great audio and an overall polished experience, reminded me of games i played growing up.

Clean looking game and a gamepay loop that kept me on the edge of my seat, invested in the fate of the precious tiny planes. Mini metro and mini motorway have been some of my favourite management-games and this achieved the same simple, yet captivating and complex feeling.

With a few more mechanics and some other variation I feel like I could spend hours upon hours managing my tiny airport. Maybe expand it somehow as the game goes on with more landing strips or something else? But a jam-scope is a jam-scope. This was maybe my favourite game so far I've played from this jam. Superbly done!

Wonderful concept and game! really liked the idea of controlling an airspace from a top down perspective. Little hard to understand the controls at the start but after a few minutes it gets easy. Only hitch would be that the planes are a bit slow so it slows down the games pace.

Thanks for playing! There is a speed up button at the top if you wish to speed up the game!

I really liked it; it was super polished. I liked the air traffic callouts, and the takeoff sounds helped me to remember when I had planes taking off I had forgotten about. I really got frantic when I realized that I had put a plane to land at the opposite end of a runway I had a plane taking off from, leading to a giant explosion and many casualties (in my mind).  I really love how this shows how a videogame can tell compelling stories using its gameplay. Of course, the main problem I had with the game is that level 1 is super slow, because the tutorial is always there. It's hard to keep trying to get a better time when the tutorial keeps me slow. In general, a speedup button would be great if you keep developing the game. In any case, you got a great game on your hands, good job!

I'd also appreciate if you gave my game some honest feedback too!

Thanks for playing and your advice! We've promptly patched the game. BUT. We thought we can replaced the web bundle but it turned out it's a Jam so we cannot and we basically lost our web playability during the Jam. (One learn from his dumb mistakes everyday I guess...) Anyway, a fix to overcome the slow start problem is already in the game, and we look forward to presenting it to you after the Jam!

The controls were a little difficult to figure out in the beginning, great fun once you get into the flow of things though. Gets hectic, in a good way.

Hey there! This was quite an interesting game. It looks very polished and we liked how difficult it can get. The voice acting is also a nice touch! Great job! :D
