I liked switching between being the soldier and person who creates the tower defenses.
I was a bit confused on what to do and how the towers work, but this is still an impressive project.
An awesome and ambition project for sure. I had fun playing what was there. The fact that there were cutscenes in it was just insane to me. Given enough time, this could be an amazing game. Impressive work for the short period of the jam and I wish the team good luck going forward!
This was an absolute fucking hidden gem! So much quality for such a short period of time. The gameplay could use a bit more feedback/juice. especially compared to the quality of the rest of the game. Please continue development on this after the jam is done, I think you will have something really special
Interesting stuff! The voiced cutscenes were certainly unexpected, and very cool. It feels like there was a lot of time put into the presentation, but not so much in the gameplay department. I wish there was more visual feedback for the shooter mode, and an endstate for the tower defense mode...the latter just kept going until the framerate was untenable. I think you have a solid basis here though, with some more work you could have something that can keep up with all the style the game oozes. Good work!
Interesting gameplay mechanic, good music, low poly visuals, and cinematics, however the game is clearly not in a playable state
This has potential though and I will be following it
The worldbuilding in this game is very intriguing and it has amazing cinematics. However, the gameplay could use polish and still has placeholder assets. Hope you continue to work on it post-jam!
Great work on the aesthetics and presentation here, the character models in particular look great! I'm impressed that you were able to fit in full cutscenes. The gameplay side of things feels pretty unfinished and I was a bit confused on what I was meant to be doing at times, but I think the idea has potential! Overall, great work!
