Interesting take on the power theme. The game looks and sounds nice. Short and sweet. Nice work!

This was really really cool!! Especially for a first jam title! I love the visuals, your UI was super clean and easy to put together despite the tight space. I loved all the silly character names and thought provoking gameplay! Keep it up!!

55 Letters! 🤓 lovely pico-8 game super clean with great pixelart and music, i love the Reingslike games. The only thing that seemed to me that could be improved is that sometimes the same cardas were seen very often, but it is a minimal detail, amazing entry!

shining little gem of a game, great work!

Loved this game. My first empire came to an end when I joined the Direct Current cult and lost everything. My second empire endured for a very long time with high power in both categories!

At a certain point the game just ended and said my kingdom came to an end due to lack of electrical power but at the time I had full political and electrical power. Is the the game supposed to end in this way after a certain number of letters signed? I really wanted to crush the Arc Duke.

(I also thought the font was a little hard to read sometimes. But that could just be me)

At any rate, I could definitely see playing a longer version of this game if the story progressed. Great job!

The graphic design choices / color palette are excellent. It creates a very compelling and self-contained experience. It's a clever idea and a great first game. Keep it up!

didnt know what to do at first but it was cool figuring out which options can lead to what outcome! also does that one "hello anyone there" event do anything special?

Developer(+1)

The hello anyone there doesn't do anything actually except slightly change your stats, I just thought it might be kind of funny.

it is 🤣

very cute, and really well done for your first game! i really love the art, also theres a pretty silly bug where you can hold x and it will repeat the same scenario multiple times.

Thanks, I didn't even really think of testing for a bug like that.

the game is really nice! i really like the colors and art too! although i do wish there was an ending to the game or some extra content

Developer

Thanks, I wanted to add more content myself, but with the way I had set up the letters, it was pretty time consuming to create more.
