that character is very epic. rest of the game is cool too i guess

I really love the movement in this game, as well as the art and soundtracks! The roll is very generous, which I like, but it is also very exploitable. You can just hold right click and barely ever get hit. Also, I feel like the difficulty scaling was too slow. Even without abusing the roll it took a while to get to a decent difficulty. Other than that I absolutely adore the random gun mechanic, and feel it could be expanded. Overall it was a great game!

i really like pretty much everything about this game. the arts good, the gameplay and menu navigation feel very smooth, and the sound design fits the game very well. Only real critique is that it feels very awkward using the mouse to collect powerups, when the rest of the game doesn't require it. Overall, well done!

Really funny and enjoyable game, love that Super Auto Pets music.  Also, just wanted to say how smooth navigating the menus felt, that was really well done. Just wish the controls felt a bit more responsive, it often felt sluggish moving left and right. Fun game though!

This is probably my favorite game of the game jam. I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack, especially once it picks up in the late game. The art is super cute, and the gameplay is among the most unique and well executed of the games I've played so far. I especially love the score multiplier mechanic, I just wish it was indicated somewhere how it actually worked. I almost didn't see it entirely and once I did it took a bit to figure out how it worked.  Also, the leaderboard seems buggy, and won't let me save my name or score. Overall, very very well done to everyone involved, and best of luck!

the music and sfx in this game are top notch, and i love the retro art style! however, i don't know if this is just me, but it felt like the enemy projectiles didn't really stand out and were difficult to see, and as the waves went on and the projectiles got faster it just felt like your ship wasn't fast enough to get out of the way. Overall though it was a great game, absolutely LOVED the soundtrack and the art style was very fitting! Great job!

i absolutely LOVE the art and music in this game, great job! the main issue for me is its length, which is exacerbated by the jump sometimes feeling unresponsive. would be really neat if there were checkpoints at each level, the game would feel alot more completable. Regardless of the difficulty, I do love the concept of having a platformer speedrun for the high score, and again, the aesthetics are beautiful. Good job!

very cute game, love how the gameplay, music, and simplistic art complement each other. i only have a couple nitpicks, the first is that the tnt feels pretty inconsistent, sometimes it skyrockets me into the air, sometimes it barely bounces me at all, and it'll rarely shoot me downwards when i bounce on top of it. the second thing is that it can sometimes feel unfair when you are bouncing upwards and get launched facefirst into the ground by an offscreen tnt, would be nice if either the cam was zoomed out a bit or the movement was a bit quicker. these are two relatively minor things though, and overall i still loved the game. great job!

i really enjoyed the gameplay, and i love the simplistic art. only real criticisms i had are noted by other people; the lack of a score counter (or at least the knowledge that economy = score, i thought it was time), and the way the game was implemented into itch made it very finnicky to actually see the whole screen. overall, great game!
