Games like this simultaneously inspire me and make me want to apologize for ever touching a game engine. Y'all are masters of your craft. The game has a novel concept, brilliant mechanics, and evocative animations in spades. My favorite part is the sound design: I could sacrifice those little dudes for hours.

I second the brightness critiques, otherwise super solid art/gameplay direction.

Scratches an itch in my smooth brain.

Lots of zany fun, the art is out of this world.

It's a little bare bones, but they're calcium-rich kaiju bones so whatever. What was your approach to the art? It looks super nice.

Thanks! Our artist cooked ngl.

But seriously, it's a pun off of a Kanye song.

Because ninjas was in Paris!

I found the mechanics super engaging (pun intended). Slap some Thomas Was Alone-style lighting on there and you've got yourself a classic!

Great feedback, ranged enemies didn't make the cut sadly... Maybe in another build

Which ones? I could only find the clicker.

Thanks, all the music (minus the drums) was played live.

I gochu

The procedural animations are insanely smooth, scratches an itch in my brain.

Super slick visuals, good job!

Very polished visuals and leveling, excellent job! I think the enemies need a slightly longer wind up animation, attacks can feel like they came out of nowhere.

The mario-maker style gameplay is excellent and the music is a certified banger. Great Job!

Solid gameplay, some shading would take this to the next level.

Abstract rabbit supremacy.

Nice sprites!

I love the lighting!

Phenomenal sprite work!

Addictive and visually breathtaking.

Solid game, I think it could use some more visual diversity.

Excellent downscale dither shader, great work!

I adore the artwork.

Favorite game of the jam so far,  it deserves to be #1. Evocative visuals, tight gameplay, witty writing. I'd love to play a full release someday.

*second kanye-type game.

Thanks for for the support! We're all quite happy with how the gameplay loop turned out.

Keyboard support would be appreciated. It this controller only or am I dumb?

Amazing presentation and art, fun gameplay loop. Kinda buggy.

Excellent dithered/downscaled visuals, novel gameplay loop. The gun is a bit of a peashooter though, I think enemy health is far too high.

I audibly laughed when I discovered the first enemy. I would have preferred shorter, harder levels personally: some feel needlessly long/easy.

Excellent idea, stunning pixel art. I'd have increased the parry window/hitbox, increased jump height, and slowed down gravity a tad personally. Could totally see this being a solid full release, good work!

Great minds think alike, I'm surprised there are so few Kanye-themed games.
