How does your game represent "Power"?
There's power in numbers--get enough people to come together over a shared goal and they'll move through mountains. In Bug Squadron, the player grows in power by gathering teammates in great numbers, quickly improving their offensive ability. I hope I can convey that feeling of being unstoppable when you've got a good group behind you.

This is awesome. I was a bit skeptical at first, but as soon as you survive those first couple waves, the cavalry starts to roll in and the game gets better and better. That first minute really makes you appreciate the extra numbers, too. I really like how all the soldiers don't shoot in unison and take a second to adapt to what the player is doing, made it seem much more like an army instead of a hivemind (though maybe a hivemind would be more accurate for insects). This game also had a really high production quality, all the artwork looked super polished. If you ever come back to this, I'd recommend letting the player keep control when they whistle. Near the endgame where I was whistling every second, I had a lot less precision with the controls. Other than that, great game!

Simple but immediately engaging. The art style is great, and there is a surprising feeling of comradery that comes with collecting the squad. Main problem is just how short the progression is.

This definitely fits the theme well, and I found it funny when I quickly overwhelmed the enemy forces through sheer numbers. Love the art style, too!

Bug Squadron was a pleasant surprise; I didn't think much of it at first, it had  a pretty drawn art style, and then as I proceeded further in the game and realized what was actually going on I started smiling and having tons of fun. It went from just one dude shooting at some other dudes to a whole orchestra of laser-firing ear-deafening cacophony, my ears might have been hurting, but boy was I having so much stupid fun. I enjoyed it, great work, especially the artstyle!
