Thanks for playing my game as well! I managed to upgrade myself and destroy the sphere but wasn’t able to figure out where to go from there. I figured that was the end since the exit didn’t work earlier.

The flip are y’all doing putting this in a game jam?! This is a release product!

It’s polished, has a great gameplay loop and progression, a great art style and solid soundtrack, and was completely engrossing from start to finish. The only real problem I had was that I could’ve played it for twice the length I did (despite the concept being well explored within the timespan).

I know the point of a Game Jam is to experiment and learn, but I’d be disappointed if y’all couldn’t, after spending a bit longer than a week on it, manage a Steam release out of this (if that were of interest to you). Even if only for a few bucks and not expanding it, you’d likely get some positive reviews and happy players from it to get attention for whatever you do next.

Great idea for the jam’s theme. I like the diverse characters and absurdity that came with it to keep the tone light despite dealing with some serious people and situations.
Only thing I felt it lacked was epilogues for each employee you hired. I’d have loved to have a short blurb about how each of the team did (or how they tried to betray the cause)!

The art and gameplay are very tightly pieced together. No extra fluff, just a solid mechanic done with a solid style and feel to it. This is the kind of stuff Game Jams are all about.
(Got to 89, btw :) )

The theming was super on point, and I like the detailed lighting you managed (the sun being visible through the tree leaves but not the trunks, for example.
Did run into a bug with the left side’s cube giving me access to the exit without a second one involved, but the mazes were pretty well built so it was tight to get back safely on some runs.

Dang, is this game’s tricks tough to land, but dang does it feel great to land them. Agreed with others that this was a blast to play and a personal favorite of the jam.

Also, how did you pull together such a sick soundtrack in such a short time and will you release it somewhere? :D

The idea of building your unit up by constructing elements and doing research elements. I can see that working well in a space exploration kind of game. In the tight environments it can be a bit tough to manage the wait for (begs for larger levels and more targets!) but there’s an interesting idea here.

Simple but immediately engaging. The art style is great, and there is a surprising feeling of comradery that comes with collecting the squad. Main problem is just how short the progression is.

Nice atmosphere, and the powers evoked a sense of experimentation.
Got a bit stuck with the physics on the three-crate puzzle, but managed it.
I found two of the endings (exit and normal), and walked past the normal ending far enough that I thought there was going to be another one since the environment was designed out—the environment.
