Well done, Awesome idea!
I found it to be rather easy, but the gameplay loop was fun! :)

The style was cool along with the atmosphere. But the platforming ruined the experience for me unfortunately, it is hard to explain, I feel like sometimes the character doesn't double jump because the window of time for input might be too short. So while the platforming was rough, I think the boss design and combat were fun. Would love to see this game being worked on post-Jam, good job!
This game reminded me a lot of Hyperlight Drifter, the art direction is spectacular with the use of pixel art, and that was the first thing that captured my attention when I booted up the game. I have a few points I'd like to make:
The game felt way too easy, and the first boss music was a bit too short. That's all I can think of really, you've got an amazing project and I hope that it becomes a full-length experience because I'm a sucker for this kind of atmosphere, Bravo!
Realm Shift is quite fun to play, the soundtracks alongside the simple aesthetics work well here, If this is your first Jam, you should be proud of what you've managed to cook up here, it's impressive. The only thing I had a hard time with way the ship was controlled, felt like I couldn't turn away which made a lot of engagements mandatory and unavoidable, Other than this was nice, good job :)
First of I'd like to say that I loved the style of this game, it has this grim mood going for it where textures seem to be slightly desaturated making it feel atmospheric. The soundtrack is cool, somewhat resembles something I would hear in Samurai Jack of all things, not sure if that's an inspiration but it is a nice vibe.
Now as for gameplay, I found the gameplay to be on the easy side, things functioned as they should, though I think the feedback on damage seemed a bit hard to tell, especially with the boar boss whenever he rams into you. A working strategy was to circle the bosses with staff. On the second time the boar appeared, I equipped a rune-looking sword that let me spin to win, however, this weapon was so powerful that it broke the boar's A.I. so it just stood there and accepted defeat.
Overall I had a very good experience with this game, the fox character looks awesome, so I'm just going to leave you with this image and say congratulations, you've done an awesome game :)
Freaky design, made me startled, I wasn't expecting the game to be so cool, and the assets are very creative, I'm sad that there isn't much sound in the game, feels a bit lifeless, but from what I played, this was a cool idea that I would love to see become a bigger project down the line. Well done!
The aesthetics and music are the biggest strengths of this game, It kind of reminded me of Chakan: The Forever Man (Odd comparison, I know) with that said, I think the movement speed and camera work against the player, also I don't know if it's a bug or not, but sometimes when the first boss breathes fire, he instantly continuously damages you as if there were no recovery frames, that's what mostly, unfortunately, killed it for me, otherwise this is a cool idea for a game, I'm a fan of gothic horror-themed games of this nature. Good job!
Wow, this was a pleasant surprise, I thought to myself (Oh look, another SHMUP) This is a very unique game, I loved the pixel art style and use of colors here. The game itself has this strategy element that was so refreshing and fun, it took a bit to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it's a blast! Lastly, the music, oh my lord, the music is top-notch and fits the general style, the soundtrack just fits like a glove. Amazing work, you should be proud! :D
This was quite fun, reminds me of some old Flash game I used to play on Newgrounds (in a good way) The controls were tight and very responsive, and the mouse-clicking aspect gave me some severe flashbacks though, lol. Conceptually this is a well-designed game even if the visuals are on the basic side. Good work :)
