Write down what effects you used.
anti-aliasing, post-processing and probably some other defaults form unity. But mostly Obra Dinn Shader from the tutorial by Madalaski

Graphically very polished but it was diffcult finding my bearings. Part of it I think is due to the line of sight not reaching very far, not sure if I was in a new area or retracing my steps. I feel like there's a bit to be discovered but more guidance at the start would be useful.

Just lost ...

Developer

Impossible! I didn't program in any losing conditions...
Yeah, sorry for hiding stuff like that, but to be honest if I had time to get it my way the game would be even harder XD The initial idea was that player can control framerate and every frame would consume battery charge.

ahah I don't loose the game, I was just lost in this game ^^'

I think, you have a really cool concept anyway

There's a lot of potential for this game, like Iron Lung vibes. Respect for the Obra Dinn shader, and I hope you continue working on this game!

Developer

Thanks! I hope so too.
The innerworkings of the shader are described by the Return of the Obra Dinn dev himself in this forum thread TigForum
His dev log is a great read even if you are not much into technical stuff.

Imagine taking the time to make some of the dither stay in one place, and not move with the camera : https://danielilett.com/2020-02-26-tut3-9-obra-dithering/

Obra Dinn's visuals are some of the most impressive and well programmed dither shaders i've seen.

I really like the graphics used! though I could not find anything during the expeditions.

Thanks, I'm sorry you didn't find anything if I continue development in the future I will make sure to give players a taste of success before throwing them into the deep water...

I love the visuals a lot, but even after like ~10 min of walking around I couldn't find anything sadly
