Really fun idea with stellar presentation, well done!

I had some trouble with the platforming, but I think it'd be easily fixed with a drop shadow directly under the player. Other than that the core loop is really fun!

I loved the art

The game was hard to progress, I was not being able to judge how far each cube was and it was quite hard to correct yourself after jumping  but looks like alot of effort went into the game.

EDIT: Turns out I was playing an early build... 🥴

A brutally tough 3D Downwell. I like it 👍

I'm terrible at it, but I like it 😁

I was having issues where moving the mouse didn't feel like it reoriented the player properly - where you'd expect to rotate the player and still have Up translating to "relative forward" - so I found my little guy frequently moving in unintended directions, which in turn made lining up those jumps onto tiny platforms far trickier than they should have been.

Once that's fixed, I can see this being something very neat and trippy - I was getting sort of "what if ZX Spectrum, but 3D?" vibes.

Odd, you might be playing an older version of the game, cause I fixed the bug yesterday. It might be the sprite giving the illusion you are walking in the wrong direction. Try to spin to the right multiple times and see if it becomes disoriented, if not, then it should be good.

Okay, I've just started playing again just to get the feel for what was happening, and the issue's not there now...

I think I know what happened:
Once the jam had finished, I opened up every browser-playable game in its own tab... Then I went to bed as I was absolutely shattered.

I then left a bit of time before starting on playing through the games, so yeah, fair to say I was playing an older build... 😅

Right, I'm going to need to update my ratings - back in a few 👍

Congrats on experiencing the cursed release day version LOL. Glad you can experience the game as intended and I hope you enjoyed playing!

Fun game! I like the fast falling effect with the high sound! Movement is pretty har to control, because I think the gravity is too low

Hard to understand where i am but i liked youre art style

Submitted

Too difficult ... I don't know where am I, where a jump ... But nice game :)

Neat concept! I loved the art style and the music/sounds! However, landing in safe blocks proved to be a real challenge. That being said, It's a very nice submission overall.

Sadly the control bug made it really difficult to progress. but the art and sound are really nice and apart from the bug its fun!

Apologies for the bug. I tried to fix it before submission. I just got it working, and you can experience the real deal on my dashboard :-)

Submitted

Great, will try! :)

Submitted

Yeah its a lot more fun now! Still challenging but in a fairer way ^^

I really like what you did. The variety of items and blocks is honestly really nice.

My biggest grips is the clunkiness of the control, targeting the crates without getting killed gets pretty hard when movement starts shifting.

It's already a lot better, I was able to reach a thousand point without too much troubles (Although the rabbit ears helped a lot).

I've given you an extra point for gameplay, nice job
