yea it was the wood panel basement

Red Orbs destroyed, but no door spawned. Stayed put for more than a minute and was never attacked.

Imagine taking the time to make some of the dither stay in one place, and not move with the camera : https://danielilett.com/2020-02-26-tut3-9-obra-dithering/

Obra Dinn's visuals are some of the most impressive and well programmed dither shaders i've seen.

Congrats on experiencing the cursed release day version LOL. Glad you can experience the game as intended and I hope you enjoyed playing!

Any chance you can show me a video of what you're experiencing on my discord: idontlikeanything#1416

Odd, you might be playing an older version of the game, cause I fixed the bug yesterday. It might be the sprite giving the illusion you are walking in the wrong direction. Try to spin to the right multiple times and see if it becomes disoriented, if not, then it should be good.

It's a pretty hard game, but fun either way! Despite Queens being the most powerful piece in Chess, they didn't feel as powerful in this game compared to the Bishops, and I think it's cause of the Bishop's speed and frequency to charge/alternate course.  Also Bishop hits constantly forced me off the stage numerous times, and at one point sent me flying on top of a pillar to cheese them.

If I may suggest some things I thought of during gameplay, I think the lower used weapons would be more relevant if I could see a reticle to aim with, and possibly upgrade throughout the game. Sniper Rifle would be very good if the bullet traveled faster, allowing players to instantly kill some pieces if they knew their placements. I also think weapon switching if it was faster, would allow maybe a weapon diversity, and add a sense of a faster pace of gameplay like Eternal.

Absolutely love the visuals

I move so fast, it gets difficult to go through the door. Also made the mistake of purchasing inventory space first before a better drill, softlocking the game. Besides these, I actually enjoyed playing the game, and I can see some potential.

Minimal fun, I love it. One of those games to play in the background, run some background music, and just pass time with.

There's a lot of potential for this game, like Iron Lung vibes. Respect for the Obra Dinn shader, and I hope you continue working on this game!

2:36! Very simple and well done. I like the music getting more menacing the closer you are to the sharks.

That squid is insane!!

Nice visuals, I was confused with some stuff like the UI or what the pick ups do, and the point of opening the chest. But I liked it.

I didn't stick with it too long, but if I did i'd understand each and every weapon and how to deal with the enemies. I can tell you poured a lot into it. Pretty good game!

For 12 days, that's insane haha. Fun game, awesome visuals. The bishops are insane though and forced me to change my strategy of using shift, to just jump and back up. I think the Sniper Rifle was kinda useless, and I stuck with using a shotgun throughout the game until I achieved the Rocket Launcher and Auto Gun.  Very good game!

Went full on upgrading vision and rocket amount + rocket reload speed. Got to Stage 11, before my own Base Defense System shot me.

This is incredibly good. The detail of the cubes lighting up when the size is right, and the sound you get when you know it's aligned correctly. Everything in this game is satisfying, and just well made.

The shipment mechanic is neat . I do think, HP, Power, and Bullets not being replenished each level and dying is a bit frustrating though. Also played level 1 twice, and got level 3 to be given to me for free.

Apologies for the bug. I tried to fix it before submission. I just got it working, and you can experience the real deal on my dashboard :-)

Before I submitted, the game was primed and ready. Until I faced a Canvas/UI bug in the downloadable, that my friends were experiencing except for me. What I thought was primed to be submitted in 5pm, was a distorted version uploaded at 1am (8 hours of trying to get things to the way it was). This forced me to change the format to a WebGL, and during the process, the movement and it's code became scathed. One of the biggest issues from my 2 friends who played the game, and the two who left a response on my entry, was the movement.

I finally managed to get it working, and my original vision of the game can now be experienced. I will be updating the game on my page, but I would like this update to extend to my entry too.

If, and this is a special if.
If I can resubmit my entry without the movement bug, as a late submission, or just an update to the game I worked hard for several days. Please and thank you! It was fun working on this game regardless! All I want is players to get a chance to play the real deal.
