Great game! One of the most original ones I've played in this jam. The artstyle worked really well
Really cool game ! Congrats !
The thumbnail doesn't do this game justice, this is the best in the jam I've played so far, the animations, sound effects are well and overall gameplay is well polished and enjoyable. The sonar is very useful and I've still yet to fully explore the array of weapons and the map, there alot of effort put in. Note, I wasn't able to close the weapons manual though and there is alot to take in with the instructions but everything makes sense once you playthrough. Great entry all round.
Ah ! I completely forgot to mention that right click is used to close the weapon manual !
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
😳 Oh wow 😱
This was something else - absolutely outstanding!
I didn't stick with it too long, but if I did i'd understand each and every weapon and how to deal with the enemies. I can tell you poured a lot into it. Pretty good game!
Thanks for your feedback !
Wow, so complex game with amazing art slyle, maybe not so intuitive but after some time it is fun !
Haha thanks for persevering
Absolutely amazing game that really took it above and beyond for this game jam. What hooked me in the most is the use of a turn based system and the great use of dithering to give the tunnels texture. The limited ammo, the limited amount of fuel, and even the limited vision are fantastic. I hope you keep making games with this much depth despite it being a small project in the future. My only issue is it was hard to see the ammo boxes and the rest of the objects you could pick up. Otherwise, great work!
Thanks a lot for playing.
I agree that the ammo boxes are way too small to be clearly seen. They are one of the last things I added
Amazing game. The lack of movement options, scarcity of munitions, durability of the subs, and lack of visuals are what make this game a unique survival experience.
This combined with the limited sound options enhanced my thalassophobia, and made it a really fun experience!
Graphically, the game really succeeds in employing black and white by making a clear distinction of points of interest, items, and enemies.
Truly a masterful submission. I look forward to playing this game in the future.
Thanks a lot for the kind word
Probably my favorite entry from what I've played so far. The only thing i can say is that its a big info dump at the start and some tooltips on the ui or something would have helped. But I did love the analog UI design
Thanks for your input. I agree that the tutorial is pretty rough to take in, I'll probably try to clear it up once the jam ends
Fun game! It was a little hard to start, but I had fun after undestanding how to play! Nice lighting effet!
Quite a fun little game - although it was a lot to grasp at start :D
Haha yes it got pretty bloated as time went on
Thanks for playing
Out of curiosity - what's the purpose of the second ship?
I was able to just play without which felt a bit weird ( since I assume people I tried to help died on there :/ )
Each additional subs gives you an extra attack per turn. Smaller ones are also able to access caves that are too narrow for the big ones.
The more subs you have at the end of the game the better the ending you get.
