That game was almost impossibly frustrating, but like, in a fun way lol. Great use of sound. I liked the variety of balls. They all felt really unique. I do think rubber goes too fast. It sometimes caused my screen to freak out.
thanks. I agree. It does take a lot of practice to perfect, during play testing I was hopeless but after a few hours I could speed run it. The rubber ball is definitely the weak link, it's very useful in a couple of levels and allows you get a hole in one if you use it at the right time but on other levels it's a liability LOL thanks for playing.
good music and sound. the squares had visual glitches at the beginning which probably has to do with your rendering method. overall quite enjoyable. and i was able to finish it.
Glad you finished it, that's quite an achievement. The game is hard. Thanks for playing and taking the time to leave feedback.
Nice idea! Speedball all the way haha. This felt way too hard in a random way to pay attention to my score. I wonder if you can somehow make the push point push the ball in a slightly more reliable way.
thanks. I agree, it is a bit hectic at times. I think making the ball movement a little more predictable would help and cause less frustration. Thanks for playing 👍
Interesting concept! I actually found the tutorial more difficult than the first 5 levels lol. Innovative idea and nice visuals/audio to match. I don't know if this was intended, but I found the little circle that was left when I took my shot a bit frustrating at times as I would try to angle my shot, narrowly miss and then on the rebound it would hit the little circle that was left behind and ping off somewhere entirely different, either setting me back a few shots or forcing me to restart the level. Also on level 6 I somehow went from what seemed a good score to -2200 haha.
Good effort though and different to the other games I've tried in the jam! Nice work :)
Haha thanks for the feedback. I left 1 second delay on the circle by design but I agree it can be frustrating at times. When I was play testing it, I liked the chaos it created LOL
Really fun game! Good job
thanks for playing. :)
very fun game very cool and fun plz rate mine
thanks, I will do
I love it! everything is great, the art the sounds the mechanics >.<
really well done!
I loved the fact that you have to change between different types of balls to go through the levels. it was really enjoyable, I ended up playing this with my cousin and he loved it as well :3
oh wow that's amazing. Thanks so much for sharing my work, I'm so glad you liked it and thank you for taking the time to play it.
very creative idea, love how i needed to use each ball to get me through the level, love the music, kept me going, great job, very hard and challenging!
That was cool! Choosing different types of balls really spices things up! Was quite challenging :D Great polish and juicy feedback with the sound effects. Awesome stuff!!
thanks Manisha, I appreciate you taking the time to check it out 😁
NIce implemented mechanics, the thing of pressing the 'P' in a mouse game is a bit akward but overall very fun and challenging pars
you can right click to access pause as well. Thanks for playing
Quite a difficult game which isn't bad! Just means I need to improve at the game! I loved having the different ball types! Nice work :D
thanks buddy. It is tough, but that was somewhat by design
It's a good design choice! Gonna have another go now muahaha
Well holy molasse Tuesday, you put together a full on game here! Simple mechanics, polished, and fun. I would totally download this on iphone or sumfin. Great job! :)
thanks. I'm planning on making touch controls a bunch more levels and releasing it on the app store 👍
The game was a little difficult, but the idea was really creative. I really liked that you used a new song for each level. I also thought that the mechanics were really cool.
amazing, thanks for the feedback. It is a tough game, I'll give you that :)
After 400 clicks I managed to complete the game, a slow motion mechanic would have been much appreciated :))))). Cool game
Yes! What a great idea. I will add one in as I plan to develop the game further. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
Honestly great Job X! This was a real challenge, and a fun one!
thanks buddy
Amazing game, love the physics. Please play my game.
thanks for the comment. I will check out your game
Probably the best take on a golf themed game that I've seen,
Changing between different balls adds a nice puzzle element,
though what is the point of the rubber ball? (I really did not get that one)
there a couple of levels it is really useful in. On level 2 you can get a hole in 1 if you choose rubber and get the angle right. Otherwise, yes, its rubbish 🤣🤣
played it again so that I could rate it, just, wow, amazing, innovative, the level design is great, massive claps.
I tweaked a few things last minute so it may have been slightly different to your first play. Glad you like it.
I'm a little biased, but love the take on using golf with the theme ;) also really cool that you made a devlog too, interesting to see your process!
thanks JoshCapp. I will be checking out your game today. Thanks for playing ❤
Hi, just played your game, WOW, so good, the best I have played so far, make more levels PLEASE!
Aw amazing feedback thank you for the kind words. I'll continue to add levels and a highscore table and leave it up on itch for ya.
Cool, thanks I REALLY enjoyed it, and fully believe that it could become a fully fledged commercial game if you added more levels and some other cool stuff!
That's really encouraging to hear thanks.
No problem, I thought of another idea for a sort of endless mode with random generation, but only if that not work, not sure. Also, if you have the chance, it would be great to get a more experienced dev to give feedback on my game!
great idea. I will play around and see what I can do. I'll check your game today. 👍👍
