A little confusing at first, you could better explain what to do, maybe with a tutorial rather than text, I think that would help. I did like the design and look of the game though. Good effort!
Lovely game, good job. I think the idea and its connection to the theme are great.
I didn't find it obvious that I couldn't be matching couples the whole time, so spent a lot of time clicking on doors during the "moving in" and "tax" phases, and then I would get some matches, and then go back to clicking without any doors opening. A clearer indication of the different phases and which one the game is in would be useful, perhaps via something like a status bar or clock face at the top moving through the different phases, rather than the text prompt at the top?
Anyhow, I enjoyed it, thanks!
The first couple mins I had no idea what I was doing! But I managed to finish it! Find my video review below:

Nice game! i like the different effects on the land during the different seasons, makes this simple concept quite artistic! It did took quite long before you had enough money to buy land in my opinion. I can tell you did the song in the beginning by yourself but did you also do the other music yourself?
Ye my string ripped while recording the first song so i had to resort to beepbox to make the second song. So consider yourself lucky ^^. Otherwise it would have been a loong series of less is more songs. The second music took me whole day to make while the intro was just a few minutes. It definitely messed up my time scedule.
It took me time to understand the game but overall it was good. I can see that you ran out of time so you probably couldn't create a full-fledged tutorial. The sprites were amazing. It's a simple thing but you even added shadows to the trees and the seasons changing was a very nice touch. Great game!
I would really appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well. Thanks!
If this had a tutorial, the game would be quite nice! It was a bit confusing to understand it all, but the art and sounds were great!
This game took me a while to actually learn. Was there a tutorial I missed? Whenever I wanted to turn a house into a park I just mashed both mouse buttons until it eventually worked. I did upgrade all my houses beforehand, and I never faced any money shortage. The graphics were good, except for the humans. They seemed very low quality, as if they had been highly compressed. I did beat the game and I overall liked it, although it could have been a little more simplified.
I kinda was not able to make the humans bigger as that would have cost more time since the other assets would have to grow in size too. And i was kinda concerned about the Ai slowing stuff down because the code was not that clean. So i went for the lowest res possible to still figure out what is going on. I did overhaul them 2 times within the 7 days. The last overhaul was around 10 hours before the deadline.
The game was definitely confusing. It was hard to tell how much of a difference matching people really made, especially with how quickly people die. I do really like the idea of city unbuilding. It fits the theme nicely. It was also really cool how you managed to find time for seasons.
I didn't know that i was supposed to sell the land until i read the game description. Why would i want to improve the houses then, if in the end i need to get rid of them?? Aside, the game is really good (especially the soundtrack), Well Done!!
You want to improve them in order to have enough financial capacity for park maintenance. You also move the people together in order to keep the population. The main thought behind it was that you could not afford a park if your town is poor. But if you have less poor people and more rich people you could have less houses and more parks. And as usual you first build them up then milk the money out of them and then push them out of their homes to enforce the law of eminent domain. I did have a lot more plans but not the adequate amount of time. A week kinda flies by even if i barely slept.
Criticism - The game definitely would benefit from a tutorial as it is confusing when you first start out and it takes some time to understand the controls. Also, I felt like people died a bit too fast as it made it hard to keep track of who lived where and to match people. Also it was a bit confusing when I could buy houses and matchmake, making those actions a bit more cleat would help.
Support - A very interesting take on the theme that I haven't seen before! I also liked both tracks of music, especially the less is more song.
Well the truth is. I had them dying at half the rate. Then I sped up the death animation and suddenly 2 people died instead of 1. But it also sped up the game progression so i kept it. I wanted people to be able to beat it fast because who got time these days. Imagine the same game at half the pace.
Really liked the music, but the game was really hard to understand. I had to keep checking the comments to figure out how to play it. A little bit of visual queues and a brief tutorial and it would have been really good!
I loved the Less is More song, ngl wish it played for the main game XD Other than that, fun game, although the buttons are a little small
The concept and the weather are great . The main problem is no visual told that what can be clicked .
Hey, I made a city un-builder too! Fun to see your take on the idea - I like the concept a lot! Seems like you've already received a lot of great feedback from the commenters, so I'll just say that the music was really well-written :)
Great game, i like that the main goal is to balance the ecology, the music and sfx are good, the idea is really original, unbuilding the town. Awesome job, dude.
I loved the music and visuals of this game. The seasonal changes were awesome. I did struggle to figure out exactly what to do, but I still enjoyed clicking away because the scene was so beautiful. NIce work!
I was not quite sure what to do in this game, was the point to match people together? I wasn't sure what the tiny things I was clicking on in front of the houses were either.
The things I did like about the game was the seasonal changes and the guy whispering "less is more" in the background every once in a while, that made me chuckle.
