The gameplay is juicy, the sense of humor is on point, the graphics are stylish... One of the best games of this jam! Well Done!

Thanks so much!  Glad you enjoyed it :)

Good game.

I really liked the art and dialogue

the gameplay is pretty nice but I wish they fought back or something

also some times my bullets do nothing for some reason

all in all, really great game!

I loved your game! Great job!

The highs are the story elements and smooth movement system.

I didn't find too much of the theme in the gameplay, though.

Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and the kind words!   I thought it fit the theme pretty well, get rid of the electronics, go be with nature.  Less things will give you a more fulfilling life but, I think I needed to do more to convey that.

I really liked this game! I didn't totally understand how it follow the theme, but I loved the gameplay and the arts

I like the game's graphics and sound. But the reason I am giving this game a bad rating is because you took Navi's voice from the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. That is awful. I don't mind if you make an homage to the game. But stealing audio clips from the game is a big deal. I never play games that steal sounds from  sources that are copyrighted.

Developer

sorry you feel that way, absolutely feel free to rate how you see fit.  I’ve heard that audio clip in so many game jams in the past and it’s always been a long running joke that it’s annoying and used to kind of troll the player. I assumed everyone knew that sound and completely forgot to add it in the description/credits(which I’ll update now).  Thanks for pointing it out.

Really fun game, reminds me a lot of De Blob games. If you keep going with this it could make for a really nice indie game! I'd add an enemy counter so the player knows how many enemies are left or if you get to the last three or so have an arrow pointing towards them so you don't end up just wandering the map hoping to run into them. Great work! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words and great ideas!  I might just have to yonk a few of those an make a v2 when voting ends :)

Really well done. It seemed to have an element of polish to it. I enjoyed the the movement controls and the level design, using the buildings as platforms was very well done. The art was well delivered and the SFX matched perfectly. Another little thing that helped my enjoyment too was the camera movement. Dropping down platforms, when enemies are on them is something I tried to do with my game, but couldn't quite figure it out without both the player and enemy dropping too, so I'm jealous it worked well in your game. Overall, great job!

I never thought about that, in unity at least, I would make two layers, one where the player walks and one for the enemy, then it would not be affected, i did not test it tho

Submitted(+1)

Of course, that would make sense. I'll have to test it out, thanks!

I enjoyed this game, the art is simple yet beautiful, I also liked the funny dialogue lines, sound effects and music are on point, unfortunately it was pretty short but that is not a problem you can't fix, also I feel like adding a timer or a way to make the make lose the game would make it more challenging.

Great game. I like the idea of how you must destroy electronics. Gameplay isalso great.
