My biggest problem was that there seemed to be too many types of gems. If there was 2-3 less, it would have been a lot my enjoyable in my opinion, but it was still quite fun to play!

thank you for playing (: there is actually 8 regular gems, with only 2 low value ones, and 5 special items (shop, bomb, coin, star and strange doll/ghost). In other words, unless you get very unlucky, you have about 2 random regular gems for 1 special item, that balances out gameplay.  Do you have any suggestions to retain the same level of strategizing but making it simpler like you mentioned? Id like to hear more about this

Really loved this, didn't think it was possible to put a unique spin on a bejewelled kinda game but really like how careful you need to be with planning your moves. The graphics and music really remind me of the casino levels from sonic games too lol.

Thanks, Ill get to it in a bit (: glad you found it nice! Didnt want it to be a clone of something else, but it seems it was a bad idea to get people interested to give them the impression its a regular matching game

This is a great puzzle game. It's addictive and doesn't feel like a candy crush or Bejeweled clone.

Thank you (: I did not want the game to feel like it either, as I am not a fan of casual game myself. I am happy you enjoyed it! Sadly a game looking like Bejeweled clone attracts less the eyes as some other title :p

Really fun game and its extremely addicting but may i ask where the theme exactly comes in like is it cause it can be a short experience? I would really like to know the exact take on the theme :) its a great game nonetheless

Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The basic idea with the theme was that ending with fewer pieces left would give you a better score and allow you to advance through the leagues.

exactly like my partner said (: you lose points for the amount of remaining gems you have in play (: the less of each gems you have, the more value youll get out of them

Very fun game! Took me a couple of rounds to get the hang of it but its pretty addicting once you get going, good job!

Damn that was really fun! I was determined to raise my league but it was actually pretty difficult. Certainly kept me playing for a while tho, good job :)

Really fun game! So far this is the only game in the Jam that I've actually enjoyed for an extended amount of time.

oh that is not your league (: thats the score you ended up with. Your league is the number in the top right corner, probably a little hidden by the jam text. there is league 20 to 1, and you need a certain amount of score to go to the next league. Each 5 league there is a new gameplay rule added, like extra item spawns and such

This Game Is Amazing, I love It! It Is So Addictive however I do find that it is heavily RNG based as you will get games with a lot more powerups than others. Very Well done!

Thank you! Yes everything is pretty much randomized currently. However, from league 10 onwards, you can manipulate this rng in a certain way (:
