Very cool game! I really liked the main mechanic, the art and sound effect is great and gameplay was quite fun. I think the text could be a bit clearer since it's a bit hard to read. But overall, this is a very good game! Great job!
Thank you for playing! We'll work on text clarity in the future!
A pretty nice shoot em' up, I liked the main mechanic of the game however, it was a little unclear how it works at the beginning of the game. Nice job!
Thank you for playing! We definitely set up a tutorial in the future!
Nice
Nice
Thank you for playing!
very good game, i love these kind of games! , it's not bullet hell enough for me, but that's personal taste, the game fits the jam , the gameplay and mechanics are well made, the only thing that is missing is some cool background music to accompany the space shooting .
Thank you for playing! We'll try to get some space beats in the future!
Nice game, I'm curious to know on what engine did you develop it.
I thought the enemies were shooting too fast but overall, it's nicely done and I had fun.
The music was great too!
Thank you for playing the game! We worked on it using LibGDX it's a java based engine that allows for distributions on all platforms (Desktop, Web, Mobile). It's simple enough that you can start basic projects and has great tools that allow for rapid expansion. If you're curious to look into it there is a book called LibGDX Game Development By Example by James Cook, is a good entry point.
Really cool game! At first I had too much trouble reading what the power ups do to dodge bullets. Scrolling through the power ups was also a bit troublesome to pick the one I wanted to throw away. Really liked the mechanic tho, and really fit the theme very well!
We will definitely work on being more clear about power-ups visually in the future. Glad you had a good time! Thank you for playing!
Great concept and i like the visuals, although they are some premade asset!
Thank you for playing!
Very fun, great job!
Thank you for playing!
Amazing , this reminds me the older games .
Glad you liked it! Thank you for playing!
This reminds me of a game called Xevious I played on my old 3DS,
Very enjoyable, addicting, and fun to play, great job! :)
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for playing!
Solid shooter with nice graphics, sound effects, and a feel like I'm playing an arcade cabinet. Not sure I really grasp the "want to stay smaller" concept as the powerups gives me such as boost that I found it easy to win. Idea is there but perhaps the powerups should also affect speed, handling, firing rate, etc. all to make it more evident that "Sure, you are a tank but you are also a much easier target to hit now and will soon lose because there's too many of them and you are not fast enough to get them all" :)
Thank you for playing! When we uploaded the game we missed a bug where the shield's cooldown doesn't activate so you get very overpowered very fast. In a future patch, we'll have it so that becoming big is a much more dangerous activity than now.
Nice little space shooter where (I think) the more upgrades you have, the bigger your ship gets. This can be a problem so it's a nice little game of deciding what you want to keep. Great job guys!
You got it right, the more upgrades you get the bigger you are, so less upgrades the more mobility you have giving you the need to choose how you play. Thank you for play!
Intresting little game, but a tutorial would've been nice as I was lost the first few rounds
Thank you for the feedback! We'll make sure to have a tutorial in a future patch!
Okay, this was a great way to handle the theme. Even though some of the powers were really useless. I honestly believe that was the intention. Some powers had to be utter garbage so that we remove them as fast as we can. On the other hand, There were some powers that we would look for, Do I want shields or do I want to increase my power? That was just brilliant. I can imagine a full version where different types of weapons are there and different force fields. I would play the crap out of that game! This was a really great entry for a game jam. You got your message across loud and clear in an imaginative and polished way. Thanks for this game. Loved your innovation in this!
Please consider playing and rating my game as well. I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!!!!
Thank you very much! There's definitely a lot of work left to be done in the game but we'll try our best to keep going and make something special! Gonna go check out your game now!
Very flat shooter almost no way to destroy an enemy without getting hurt and the mechanic of getting bigger turned this even worse. I also found little value to the items.
Thank you for playing. All feedback is appreciated.
thank you. we will try to balance the game so it's easier to shoot the enemies without having to get shot at.
Very cool game! The art and sound design are really well done and the controls feel good. I feel like the game is pretty frustrating though, since there is absically no way of avoiding the enemy's bullet because of their almost constant firing rate.
Great Job!
Great feedback. The level design ended up being a bit of a rush job so the enemies sadly can get a little spammy with their shots. We'll definitely work on better enemy layout and behavior to make the game fairer in the future. Thank you for playing!
Great visuals! Very spacey! I don't have a scrollwheel though, so you may want to look into other ways of selecting equipment. But great job otherwise!
Good suggestion, we should have alternative controls. Thank you for playing!
Awesome game, very funnn, plz rate mine
Thank you for playing! Gonna go check it out right now!
Nice little game, its very fun! But I dont like the sound effect when you hit an Enemy.
Thanks for the feedback! We definitely have to upgrade some of our SFX in the future.
