Took me bit to figure out a good strategie for the last boss, but finally made it :)
Very nice game overall

Things i liked:

  • Graphics look very polished
  • Overall gameplay mechanics are well implemented
  • Puzzels where challanging, and the diffrent machine parts are unique
  • Tutorial was helpful
  • loading screen has a nice transition

Things i didn't like

  • when clicking on a machine part its already triggerd, even tho you can right click to abort the healing for example. Thats somewhat confusing at first.
  • the game is not really "selling" the theme of the jam but not sure if any game could achieve that, but I can see the few mechanics that implement it.
  • the cogwheel is kinda wired in my opinion. It should either be an info icon or it should actually open an options menu.
  • since you cant see the machine parts upfront you kind of have to have luck to win the round on your first try

I had a hard time figuring out what I was doing at the beginning, but once I did, this game was really fun and I had to pull myself away from it! Amazing job!

Pretty challenging, but I liked the difficulty curve. The visuals are amazing.

Awesome game! As usual, the visuals are the best part, but the gameplay was also pretty interesting! Just two minor complaints:

- Please export to more platforms or at least provide a web version so people from all OS'S can play and enjoy your game

- The game windows stay with a small fixed size in my laptop and I can't grow it

This game is so addicting! The art made me wish to be on that level as an artist! love puzzle games, that's why I made one too.. The puzzles are smart and the boss was hard but I kept trying until I won! :D

At first I thought this game is not a challenge and it is easy to gain unlimited energy using some combinations of machine parts. But then i realized that the game requires a lot of thinking in other aspects. Actually the boss is so hard that I didn't manage to see the ending :( Good work on visuals and music.

Stunning visuals and juice! The gameplay is solid too, the puzzles are challenging and interesting.

Being able to see what's in the queue would have been great.

I can't put a 5 stars because you didn't make the sounds & music (and you made the rules saying we were supposed to).

Wow, that's a very solid game!

Once I understood the mechanics, the puzzles became really fun to do. Each time I tried a level and failed, I got a new "ha-ha" moment that made me closer to passing it. This is brilliant level design !

The music and art are also spot on and give out a very nice atmosphere, I loved it! Somehow the art of some cards reminded me of aboriginal or zentangle art, so cool ! :D

Cheers and congrats for the game !

This was my first GameJam, Thank you for the experience!

Feel free to check out my own entry for the jam <3

Noa! You are just the king of juice in games honestly, it just all felt so satisfying, all the squishy noises were perfect! ANd I love your artistic style! Amazing work, level 5 though, wow that got hard!

Did notice some methods of getting infinite energy x) But overall, what a game! Great work!
Level 8 though wow...hard!

Challenging puzzles, really fun and amazing game!
Loved the art, so instantly recognizable. and the card designs in particular stood out to me.
Will have to play this one more so I can finish all the levels!

noa its a great game but there is a bug .when you cancel using the machine

Overall design is great, but I didn't understand how this game coresponds to the theme. Also I think that game has some problems with energy economics because when you combine hp increasing machine or duplication machine with 2 energy giving machine you actualy get endless energy resources. I don't know if it's bug or not, but machine that gets damage when another machine ability is used still gets damage if you cancel another machine activation action. Sound design is awesome, every action has it's own sound. Animations are smooth. Game style is pretty interesting.

Amazing game! Pretty challenging but fun, and quality art/music/sound design! However the plot/concept could be clearer. Still amazing!

I cannot believe this was made in 7 days. The music and art and sound seem so hard to make. Everything is so polished.

Amazing art and also a really fun puzzle :)

Art is second to none and so recognizable. You would know its a BTP game without even checking. Took me a while to grasp the game but this could boil down to my lack of card playing experience :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :) Yes you're not the only one who found the game quite hard to figure out. I should have spent a little more time on the tutorial it seems.

nonetheless .... it's awesome dude! I'm a huge fan. You made me start doing this so I owe you big time!

It helped that you introduced the cards one by one, so you could play around with each of them. It was like the first 7 levels were the introduction, and levels 8 was the full game unleashed.

Such a sad ending for our poor protagonist :(
