I have to say, the moment that custom cursor popped up I was sold. I love the attention you put into world building through the small intro text, music and overall atmosphere.

That said, I'll be honest I didn't really understand the gameplay. I really liked the idea of freeing my fellow citizens from blindly being ruled over, but the best strategy just seemed to be spamming the button until the followers all gained enough speed which made each level feel like a bit of a slog.

I think if there was a more puzzle-based system where you had to continually choose the correct ideological lines carefully to keep different groups of people all following you, you would be able to not only make some quip-worthy social comments but also make that gameplay loop more engaging.

Of course, it'd be amazing to also see the visuals and audio of the game fleshed out too to fit the aesthetic--be it simply through the lighting of the scene or through nice sprites and convincing voice acting. But,  this is a jam so that stuff is all extra.

Overall, the idea was great which shows you've certainly got something here.

The idea is really neat and I would have liked to see more focus on the design and balance. I found the best strategy is to repeatedly spam one dialogue that works on all followers, not even bother with the other options, and make it to the gate on time. Possibly spam it near the gate just enough so you can go get the lever and get back.

To sum it up, it's a fun concept, but falls short because of the design. That said, it looks very promising and I would have liked to see it fleshed out more.

Visuals aren't that good but the idea behind the project, combined with the concept and the game design compensate for it

It's fun, but it takes really long for the civilians to follow you, but found out that by spamming one of the options, they get gradually faster. They got to a point where they were so fast pushing up to me that they pushed me out of bounds (!). With no reset button I kinda gave up, but the idea of the game is very clear.

The people are  too slow otherwise a greate game ^^

It was hard for me to get people follow me as they were too slow and me too fast. Interesting theme idea but for my taste there was too much text to read. Next time try to simplify the story / settings a little bit to make it more "action" and less reading. Congratulations for finishing a game in time :)

Very interesting approach to the theme, and the aesthetic leans into the story. However, I found the controls kind of frustrating and didn't fully get the strategy, I would need for that to be a bit more consistent in order to enjoy it.

Loving the setting and vibe from this! Took me a while to understand the mechanic but I got there!

I agree with krazykain, the civillians were kind of slow and the player's movement was a lot faster, but The game was still fun to play.

Fun Theme and love the art style, but I must admit actually getting the civilians to follow or run away fast enough did get pretty frustrating.
