This game gives me VVVVVV vibes. The self-destruction and chain-reaction mechanic is super satisfying and fun to use. I expected each boss to be be fought in the same way, but after the introduction of blue bullets I liked how I had to strategise more. I couldn't get past the 4th boss though, I kept on healing it so I had to give up. But I think if you tweaked the blue-bullet heal values, the game would be a perfect balance of challenging but fun. Overall, super fun game, one of my favourites from the jam so far.

This is a really cool concept. Wasn’t able to finish it though. Too many blues and the enemy keeps healing. Still a really good game!

Damn that was hard ! But the concept is amazing, I loved playing this game despite the difficulty. The music and sound hurt a bit though.

Very creative use of the theme! I've some suggestions, maybe they can be useful:

  • maybe the butterfly could be a little bit faster;
  • the range of movement of the butterfly could be bigger too.

Great use of the self destruct theme, but punishingly difficult! The tradeoff between damaging and healing with the red and blue projectiles is really clever. Felt like I was able to brute-force the first bunch of levels (just by basically spamming self destruct) until I got to the mole(?), which is where I had to give up, dying in a single hit is probably ok, but at least my movement wasn't precise enough to reliably dodge the projectiles, so I never really got close to beating him. Fun concept though and the chain reaction explosion effect is really satisfying!

I did pass many levels doing the auto-destruction but at some point I didn't understand the difference between the blue and the red dots and i couldn't kill the 7th boss.

blue bullets subtract from the damage done to the enemy, so you'll want to watch out for accidentally exploding them.

I like the butterfly. Very difficult with dying with one hit. I didn't know what the controls were when stating.
