I like the idea of exchanging score for health! I did find a bug where if you play the browser game for too long, the bullets you shoot disappear. 

2D art looks pretty cool. Not much to do in terms of gameplay. There's only one type of boss. Well it's something. It's a good start if it's your first game and game jam. Keep it up and good luck!

A cool time killer, plain and fun, I got to wave 5 and unfortunately there was no sounds playing for me, might be a bug.

Cool game. The ships look neat and the music is great. Unfortunately, there seems to be a weird bug where bullets will randomly stop shooting forward and instead just flash in front of the player's guns. Then the only way to damage the boss is to fly inside it. But when it works it's pretty fun.

Change the colors of the bullets and give them SFX would make this 10x better 2.5/5 Great job though!
