Congrats on your first game for Mini Jam! Simple game mechanics and cute sprites!

Once I got the hang of the controls I actually really liked working through the puzzles. Also the jazzy background music is quite nice along with the static of the character!

Glad you enjoyed! Also interesting suggestion, I probably did have time this jam to try out having penguins slightly walking around while they were on the platform - that probably would have made it more dynamic and fun. Something I'll keep in mind next time, thank you!

Thank you! I would have loved to make the penguins waddling into place before each level happen but realistically didn't get the time for it this jam!

No 0/5 please, not related to Taylor Swift haha. Also while building the game, many many times I would push the penguins in front of the train LOL

Thanks for playing! The fast train is definitely a difficult one haha, that pre-train penguin-prep is really needed!

Thanks for playing! It was a fun game jam to do!

I like the tetris idea. We were planning to have multiple trains come, with different colors, and you need to push the right penguins onto the right trains.

For example, penguins with red hats go into the red train, and penguins with blue hats need to go in the blue train.

But alas, game jam time limits :p

Definitely something interesting here around penguin organization and time constraints 🤔

Thanks Dima!

Yes, glad you utilized the pre-arrival time! Was a little worried players would just wait, but it's a good opportunity to get your ducks penguins in a row.

Haha love it thanks, it IS very fun to kick and push the penguins around happy with how it came out!

Wow super impressed with the game feel in this game. The fights, especially with the swap places boss, felt incredibly fast paced but also fair. Felt really good to play, great job!

Haha glad you enjoyed! Definitely could have done some better balancing next time - will keep in mind! Have interestingly found some folks have a really easy time with the 2nd boss, and a really hard time with the 3rd, or the complete opposite like yourself, and not usually a lot of people in the middle haha. Glad you enjoyed the cutscenes :)

Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed! Yeah we added controls in the game page and in the settings page, but to be honest, would have made things easier for players if we had an in-game tutorial. Something for us to consider next time!

Thank you for checking the game out! Thanks for the detailed feedback, definitely makes sense where we could have improved things, but glad you overall enjoyed :)

Generally well put together! Agreed with some other comments, I wish the player felt a little less floaty, I think it would have made the game feel snappier.

Definitely a good start, I feel like it has the makings of what could be a fun game!

Agreed with the other comments, definitely has potential. I'm sure you would get more people checking out the game if you updated the cover art!

The visuals are awesome, and it looks like the story and mechanics in the game have a ton of potential! Unfortunately it did seem quite difficult to beat bosses given the timing on attacking seemed a little awkward.

Enjoyed playing through the game! I like the squish sound effect. Definitely got stuck a few times when I jumped up, and the next level showed, but I fell to the previous level though haha.

I honestly loved the use of the Exchange theme in this game. It was actually really fun to balance having a really good gun but then needing to heal and seeing what I might get, or throwing guns away to get better ones. Also showcasing health was done super well. Impressed with what you were able to achieve and the fun-ness of the game!

I like how on the page you say it's so difficult to beat you haven't even beat it lol. Yeah not exactly sure how to play the game, it seems that the sun instantly kills you without really giving you a way to fight back. But do keep it up, congrats on your second game!

Fun game, enjoyed playing through! If I could provide some feedback, I do wish the dash also made you immune, and there was a clearer indicator of the boss health as I played through.

Wow the voice acting really took this to another level, love what you all did! The art and style is also amazing. FPS  did drop quite a bit for me though unfortunately!

Really fun game! The visuals are amazing, impressed again by how you all were able to do the art during the jam! The gameplay is fun, first boss has good AI and telegraphed attacks. I do wish I could gain more health from picking up the health orbs around the arena though!

Thanks for the feedback. I believe the game still moves you on to the next level if both you and the boss die at the same time haha.

Thanks for playing, will check out your game :)

Thank you for playing, and thanks for the detailed write up! Definitely agree with improving attacks, I think quite a bit we could have done there to make the game feel better. But yeah thanks for the kind words and the constructive feedback, really appreciate it!

The art in this is incredible, super impressed you were able to build all this during the jam! In addition to the music, really makes the game come alive and feel great.

Enjoyed the game! Absolutely loved the sound effects for the bosses, some of the sounds were really funny. Managed to take down the first boss easily, but couldn't figure out how to damage the second boss - attacking the orbs back at the boss didn't seem to do damage!

Managed to defeat Baal by spamming attack and running in circles around him! Took a few tries but managed to get the strategy down haha. I think after defeating Baal, the game ends though?

Wow absolutely amazing, incredibly impressed with all the art as well as the sound effects. Great game.

Hey huge congrats on your first game jam and first game! I liked how well you incorporated the exchange theme into the game, and I feel like the overall game is actually done quite well. The boss fights feel like they make use of the theme well. I enjoyed playing :)

Really interesting use of the exchange concept, and I really do like the art style you've set up for the game. I do wish it was a little more fluid to walk around and attack as the player.

Wow amazed at the scope, super cool you were able to build an RTS game with building development, all the AI characters, etc in a month. Minor nit, but during the night time, I would have loved more lights around the city / your units!

The exchange theme was done really well here, I like how you baked it in so well to the game with the player constantly having to switch weapons!

I assume this was based on Songkran given the dates of the game, love it! Also love the use of the theme, the exchange between wet and dry worked really well and kept you on your toes a lot. Also, the dialogue in the story is absolutely hilarious, so fun.

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for playing :)

Haha, love it

Enjoyed the game, there was definitely a difficulty progression between the bosses that you could feel!

Cute game, loved the pixel art style!
