How does your game fit the theme?
Each environment and level requires the player to dive deeper into the ocean to the point where they must illuminate their surroundings to find what they are searching for

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We outsourced the map tiles, UI, and item icons, and music. Everything else, however, was built from scratch

Overall a fun and complete game with interesting mechanics. I thought the sonar was really cool, and I really enjoyed navigating the darker levels with my light. I did run into the "ship death" issue on my first playthrough but luckily I came back and beat it.

Yeah, my fix to getting stuck on the boat was kinda lazy. I've fixed it so you slide off now, just waiting till the jam ends to update. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it :) It was a lot of fun to make

A really cool idea!

Pretty fun game, but...

Upon collecting 3 items, I received the command to return to the ship, which I read  as "fly out of the water and land on the ship as a helicopter would". Upon succeeding, I however did not complete the mission. I couldn't move and ran out of oxygen.

Not to say it wasn't funny, but I kinda feel punished for being stupid. The level was pretty long.

The preceeding gameplay was fun though, swimming and collecting items feels smooth.

Thanks for letting me know, I was worried that message might seem vague. I am working to fix the "Dying on the Ship" problem. The last thing I want is for you, or any player, to feel stupid and be punished for my bad design.

Nice game, I like how the you pickup the objects and the lights.

Reminds me of the diving minigame in Club Penguin. Quite fun and fits the theme really well.

Fun game and fits the theme. I like the way the headlights light up your surroundings and the radar works great(just wish it was a little bigger though, maybe it's just my monitor).

Voted! Good job

I really enjoyed it. The game controller felt like we were underwater and radar is very unique idea. Also i found a little bug if you accselerate underwater and  go above the sea level you can jump over the map border.

Yep! lol, thanks for letting me know. I've added that to the list of bugs that need to be fixed. Thanks for playing our game!

There's a good basis for expansion here. I was hoping to see some upgrades or progression after the first level.

Developer

Im already making plans for progression. Upgrades and equipment is one of the first features ill add after bug fixes. I'll also do more gradual progression of level difficulty and mechanics introduction.

Thanks for playing it!
