How does your game fit the theme?
Tracking down the hideout of a once mighty musicians, you are standing in front of a closed door. From behind the door, you hear music playing.
Now, you are wondering what you might find there and how to enter this place?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, except for the menu (however also adapting it a for this game)

Lovely little musical game, fits the theme nicely, can be finished in a couple of minutes though, so not very lengthy. Could be improved further
Thanks, for the kind feedback. I would have loved to add more songs after the final cut scene, but rather went for other things. This kind of music game was also more difficult to balance. For people with little music experience it was extremely challenging and for others it's probably too easy. Maybe I will add some more songs after the jam as it is actually very simple to do so.
Nice idea for the Jam! The sounds are good and the music to! Small and smiple game for starters, which I can definitly see improvement on!
Some things I think could be better: The menu is a bit weird, at first I didn't know if I already was playing or not. Also at the end when I clicked on menu the text was overlapping the UI.
But I think with a bit of polish this game could be a nice game for sure!
I'm also in the jam, and I know with more time everyone has a list of things they'd like to add or wanted to add. I try to provide the listed feedback in a constructive form to highlight different perspectives as a player and to show that I indeed did play the game.
Having keys for the input would have been a easy and very efficient idea indeed. Thank you for the interesting feedback. I considered adding colors coming from behind the symbol and the door, but again the time.
I've added a solutions list in case you want to see the end (which includes a final cut scene)
heyy, I am confused about how to play the game!
a little input from me, you can add a "how to" section for the player to read. even better, integrate the tutorial into the gameplay.
Thanks, you just have to use your left mouse button and the handle plays a sound based on where you are between the vertical bars.
I tried to show how it is done with the intro scene. However, there was not quite enough time to make it more apparent.
Was very confused at the start
a bit boring
decent tho
