Really liked the concept. I feel like there were times where I nailed the selection only for me to fail it, then try the same combo again and it work. I'm never figured out if the order matters or not. Since I'm a visual learner, it would have been great if the icons were either different note symbols and/or different colors. That way I could visualize what might should be different. Great work!
Thanks for playing my game. There was a flaw in the array initialization process. I fixed that, plus I added colors and symbols to the icons. Thanks for your valuable feedback!
Nice game with very cute graphics. I have managed to get to the 9th door and it was pretty challenging sometimes but generally difficulty is nicely set. I had a lot of fun.
Thank you for playing my game. You have succeeded in opening 9 doors? That is amazing! I was worried that it might be too difficult because of the limited number of both actions and physical strength, but I am relieved to hear that the difficulty level was just right.
Fun idea, but I wish the sounds were a bit more pleasant to listen to.
Thank you for playing my game. Due to my limited composition experience, the music clip ended up being quite basic. I still struggle with making the triangle wave more audible. Thank you for your feedback!
I think it was an interesting idea and like the retro art style.
For feedback, I think it's good idea to say that if 3 sounds are played; one is coming from first row, second one is coming from second row and third one coming from third row so it's easier for the player to decide which sounds to choose from.
By the way, I made up to Door: 8.
Thank you for opening many doors! I’m delighted that you understood the intentionally unexplained placement of the music clip icons.
Such a great concept for a game, I think you did a really nice job making the sounds easily distinguishable between each other. I had fun figuring out each puzzle. Fantastic job! :D
Thank you for playing my game. I’m very happy that you enjoyed it!
This is a really interesting concept. I really liked the animation that played when you opened the door and treasure chest after each level. One minor thing that I kept running into was that the audio for whichever note block I clicked would overlap with the audio from pressing the play button to hear what I'm trying to match, so I think it'd be nice to stop the first audio when clicking the play button so they don't overlap. Not a big deal at all tho! Nice work!
Thank you for playing my game. I’m glad you enjoyed the animation. I’ve resolved the sound playback issue. Your valuable advice is much appreciated!
Very good idea. Even though the sound quality isn’t the greatest, you still have a lot to be proud of here. I also didn’t at first realize that the sounds were full clips. I think with some improvements in the ‘tutorial’ and sound design you will have a very good game. You could also map the sounds to keys on the keyboard to make it accessible to handicapped players. Overall, well done!
Thank you for playing my game. I am considering using the first and second doors as tutorials and guiding the operation with arrows and light-ups. I want to implement it as soon as possible. The melody is composed of monotonous square waves and noise, so if I can visually represent this, it seems that I can make a kinder game for more players. Thank you very much for your valuable advice!
Very original idea. Haven't really seen a game quite like this. However there are some things that i think could be improved, make the full screen expand the game view, add a replay button for the sound and maybe some ui elements to better explain the melodies.
Thank you for playing my game. I have addressed the elements that were difficult to understand as quickly as possible. I am currently considering how to implement a method to visually represent the melody, but it seems like it will take some time to implement. Thank you very much for your valuable advice!
I love the feeling of a retro adventure game! It was a good mental exercise to learn to listen to the three different sounds. Very fun:-)
Thank you for playing my game. Initially, I thought about making a game where you create the shape of a key to open a door. However, I thought it would be interesting to combine sounds instead of shapes, which led to this work. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed it.
The art style is unsettling (in a good way). I think a horror game with this art style could work
Thank you for playing my game. I designed the screen with a sense of confinement, as if you were exploring a labyrinth. As you mentioned, the color scheme could indeed be used for a retro horror game.
This is a cool game, and I liked the retro style :)
Thanks for playing my game. This time I was not able to keep a thorough retro style and ended up halfway through the game. Next time I will aim for a consistent art style.
Cool idea! Took me a bit to figure out the notes were clips instead of single notes, but I had fun.
Thanks for playing my game. I didn't explain myself well enough overall. Still, I am very glad you enjoyed it.
interesting concept! Art style is also quiet unique. great jam submission!
Thanks for playing my game. I made this game inspired by a pattern-combining type of music composition software. I unified the graphics to match the atmosphere of the music, which has only one bar of my own composition.
The idea was great but the audio part could do some work. Good job anyway
Thanks for playing my game. I am very ashamed of the poor quality of the music as you said. I will study my weak areas to overcome and make a better game next time.
Please don't be ashamed. You did a great job. :D
