I actually liked the placement of the area, and the unique visual style is very interesting, I enjoyed the game a lot.

The jumping mechanics and killing enemies actually felt very clean.

I may even consider to play the game again sometime since it was a lot of fun - nice job on this!

Developer

hey! that's very encouraging praise. specifically from someone who also made a platformer that i quite enjoyed!

thanks :-)

The game was quite interesting. The low poly art is very good. Although it is simple, I managed to built my shelter and finish the game.  I just wished that the items to collect would have a little highlight (specially those two on the corners of the level), and that we could carry more than one piece at time. Besides that, a good game indeed!

Developer

thanks for playing and your suggestions, chpassos!

how many tries did it take you to finish the game?

how many pieces would you like to be able to carry?

there's code for changing the limit in the game already.

just didn't get around to playing around with the values...

also thanks for ... ~highlighting~ the issue with item visibility. hadn't occured to us.

Beat it! Love that you went for a 3D platformer. It was an interesting design choice to make players run the building materials 1 at a time. It could be interesting, but it makes for a lot of backtracking that can feel a little repetitive at times. Maybe new enemies spawn in or the platforms move with the wind to help make it feel fresh each time you run back for a new part. Otherwise, really cool game.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! <3

Developer

Thanks for sharing what it felt for you to play the game!

We put the constraint in as an attempt to break the classic formula.

I agree with your concern about repetitiveness / freshness and like the proposed solution!

And congrats to beating it! :)

Cool 3D world! :)

Developer

thanks! did you notice our game has 3 things in common:

floating platforms, double jump and collecting things :)

7 was the most I could get. Maybe I missed something, but I get the impression you were meant to use the enemies to get to high places. The problem is that you can kill an enemy and they won't come back so it's very easy to soft lock yourself. Still, the aesthetics were cool and I liked the theming and idea of the game.

Developer(+1)

oh. did you use the double jump?

that's on us, should have pointed that out. will add that to the desription right now!

thanks for your helpful feedback and for your effort!

Fun goofy little game. It is pretty laggy, but that didn't ruin the experience. Can you vote my game too? I'm 13 and would really appreciate a comment or some feedback.

Overall a pretty good platformer, with great graphics, and a bit simpler audio but that's fine. the game felt a bit slow, movement speed could be a bit faster. I'd add coyote time but its not the end of the world.

Overall pretty solid 8/10 :)

Developer

Thank you GoldenRusher! We love your feedback! <3 Thanks very much for testing it!

Developer

funny you say that, the audio is actually one of the more sophisticated systems programming wise. but i see what you mean!

thanks for the constructive suggestions!
