the movmenet feels good and nice job with fishing people

Interesting take on the theme, the switch in atmosphere between the calm and storm is incredibly well done. My main suggestion would be adding more threats so that as the game goes on the player has more to worry about, but having the shells reduce the timer was a very creative way to keep the player from hiding in a corner the whole game. Nice job!

I liked how smooth moving the character felt. It could've used some elements as others have said to sort of break up the cycle, or encourage you to go near the enemies and have a chance at dying. Overall, pretty interesting, good work getting a game submitted.

Very beautiful art style. Great atmosphere.

The enemies were easy to dodge by just sitting in the corner. Perhaps add some other dangers? Maybe a trawler that has a net.

There's really good use of light and sound to differentiate between day and night sections. Definitely has that panic moment when you first play and it shifts to night. I think design-wise, it could have used some more elements to prevent the game from getting repetitive after a couple of cycles. Nice job!

Cute! Super smooth. I like the fishing ships idea and sound design. Keep it up!

I liked your artstyle I thought it was pretty charming. It reminded me of those old fish games where you keep eating other fish and grow your size, I would have loved to see a feature like that just to spice things up a bit.

Otherwise pretty solid submission :D

I love the Atmosphere and the art

I loved the concept, and the game is fun. Congratulations and good luck!

I've played game for 427 seconds, collected 141 item and stopped playing at cycle 11.
I'm not sure if there is an end because it was hard for me to lose :)

I really enjoyed graphics, audio and how you work with light in this game. Atmosphere is top! Running progress bar made me stressed at first but after first circle and dying just "to see what happens" it was pretty hard to lose again. Movements of boats were too random to be a problem. You can just wait in the corner :)

But I really enjoyed the game! It was fun! Thank you!

Really like the graphics and the audio. Also the opening text was pretty cool, it gave a kind of vibe I can't really describe right now.  Great game overall and there's lots to expand on!

Visuals and music made storm/clear weather change quite drastic. Overall good job

The game is great and fits the theme perfectly! :D

Really cool game! the visuals were good, and i loved the soundtrack, it gave a really interesting mysterious and chill vibe. The gameplay was fun, boosting around with the octopus, although it might feel a bit repetitive over time. Anyway, i really enjoyed playing it, great job!

Really cool! I loved how you made the scene with the plants on the front of everything. The sound is really cool too, it gives the peaceful sensation even tho the life of a sea animal is dangerous because of fishing. So i think you used the theme pretty well! I got a bit confusing, i still don't know what the cycle and the bar means. But i still had fun playing it and feeling as a sea animal! Great job!

Very fun premise! But i found that the best strategy was to just move upwards all the way and just stay there not moving. With a more solid difficult curve and some upgrades, new enemies or objectives to keep things fresh, this could be a lot of fun!
