How does your game fit the theme?
I made my game fit the theme of "Calm before the Strom" in two ways.

First : Different definition of Calm before the Storm. Player is the dungeon master and shop-keeper, (the Calm) standing "before" the Storm, which is the fights that take place.

Second : A more regular definition is creating the dungeon is the calm, and the combat is the storm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code, art, sounds, and music were made from scratch for this game jam.

It's a very cool game, but I think I didn't fully get the crafting and equipping part,  I have the weapon on the slots of the page when you click the shop button, but my damage is still 1 by default. I'd love to see where you go in the future, good job overall

Very cool idea! There's a nice strategy/management aspect with letting the heroes get far, but not necessarily to the end since you want their hard-earned cash. The art is simple and clear, and there's a nice reference to Slay the Spire's shopkeeper. The shop system wasn't immediately clear, and I don't think I got the crafting tutorial the first time I played.

I'd also like to be able to change one map slot, particularly if the heroes tend to die there immediately. It could cost money to replace the slot.

Good Game

I love the idea and the game itself. it looks great! but... it NEEDS quality of life update, the game takes too long to play itself which might annoy the player. Audio could also use some more work.

8/10 :>

Awesome game! I loved the way you build your dungeon and set the price of items. I played the fights at max speed, but I wanted it to go even faster. Overall, it's a great game! GL <3

First of all, the graphics are stunning and the "build your own dungeon" game mechanic was really cool. When I played the game I was hoping for more player interaction during combat. At the moment, you just watch and click "Next move". Either make it completely automatic or give the player the option to dodge enemy attacks, or influence the fight in a different, more interacttive way. Just my opinion. Game is great!!!

Very nice aesthetic and colourful characters / dialogue. The concept seems really cool. There were a few things that I was having trouble grasping relating to the menus. I think just having some sort of labels for what each section is for would go a long way, but that's just nitpicky post-jam stuff. I found the loop of choosing your "path", combat and trading items very interesting and think you're taking a very unique and fun approach to RPGs

It has a bunch of mechanics, I played for a while and really like the whole turnbased rpg combat you had, great job!

Getting into the game was a bit tough, as there were a lot of moving parts and the explanation was pretty brief. However, I did end up playing this game for like, 30 minutes, so you must be doing something right. The art was charming and cute, and I found myself excited to see what cool new item I could sell next.

Thanks for posting this game!

It seems really well put together however its not very intuitive. I was confused the whole time playing the game even with reading everything. Too many gameplay mechanics to learn all at once. If built out however Im sure you would have time to ease the player into it better.

I loved your art style, the gameplay itself is very fluent, you have to strategize what cards to put where. I really enjoyed your game, great work!
