How does your game fit the theme?
Game starts with light rain (calm) that slowly escalates into a heavy downpour (storm), increasing the challenge over time.

Beside the narrative of a grill living in peace being interrupted by a storm and fighting it, there also exists the contrast between the calm upgrade sequence and its transition to a literal storm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all of the code and art are done by me and all of the audio assets were done by my teammate Fatih Anıl Yıldırım.

Wow! My 14-year-old mouse burned a hole in my desk. Very cleverly constructed game design. You managed to make a very addictive game. And I think you even completed the Make a game with only particle effects challenge.

The visuals are great. The level texts are funny. The upgrade system also worked well. I really like how the music dynamically adapts to the difficulty level. At first, it bothered me that the background music always started from the beginning and I couldn't listen to it all the way through. Because the cycles are only a few seconds long at the beginning of the game. But then I understood that this is part of the concept.

By the end, the game plays by itself. I also maxed out the upgrade tree.

Great game!

This is insanely good for a game jam! Congratulation on your submission ^^

The game is so catchy I've been playing it for a hour now hahahaha, the only thing that I think of is maybe more powerups? For example, instead of having 1 radius, you have a mirror sphere but you have /2 of your initial radius. Maybe some horizontal evaporators. Other than that, more water droplet types? Some with more health, or in angle instead of vertical. So many opportunities :P do you plan on continuing it?

Thank you!

Although I am not directly continuing to work on this game, I am actively prototyping variants of it to see what works and what doesn't.

I also have an update adding another droplet type, a couple of new upgrades and lots of tweaks ready on the hand to be released after the jam. It somewhat addresses some of your recommendations.

Wow, it's a simple concept, but it's very fun and original!

I loved the art, it is minimalist and very beautiful.

The sound effects and music fit perfectly.

one of the best I've played in the jam! :D
