How does your game fit the theme?
It starts off with nothing happening for the first 30-40 seconds, in which you can make coffee and dig through trash for power-ups.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the assets and code from scratch except mobile control icons which I got from kenney.nl and credited in the games description.

A very lean prototype. I like it. Was a bit tough for me to finish, but I enjoyed the setting. Congrats!

I like the simplicity of the control scheme and the presentation is great, but HOLY HELL, please make the beginning a bit easier. The amount of perfect dodges with no checkpoints is a little excessive. You introduce the obstacle and immediately ask of the player to do that 20 times in a row perfectly. The zombies will sometimes crowd you too, which basically makes dodging impossible. I do genuinely think there is potential here, but there's definitely a challenge curve that needs to be ironed out

Congratz on the first game! I could run past the zombies most of the game, is that intended?

Developer

If you pick up the trash at the beginning you get a speed power up, so if you picked that up you can run past them. Altough if you die you lose the speed boost.

Congratulations on finishig your first game and submitting on time for the Jam! - A little feedback, I would shorten the waiting on the first level, I almost quit the game because I thought that was it! The movement and the animation were OK. Again, congratulations and I hope you keep participating on more Gamejams :)

Dodging the zombies by juking them is an interessting concept, but it's kind of unclear when I can pass them and when I can't.
Other than that, nice game!
