How does your game fit the theme?
Lighthouse Keeper embodies the theme by starting with a tense, quiet period where the player, as a lone lighthouse keeper, prepares for an approaching storm by performing routine tasks. This initial calm slowly builds tension as the environment worsens, transitioning from peaceful isolation to the chaos of violent winds and vengeful spirits rising from the sea. The storm serves not only as a physical threat but also as a metaphor for the unraveling of hidden dangers and mysteries, creating a stark contrast between the calm preparation and the supernatural chaos that follows.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote the code and Liam made the assets and music within the week.

The visual style and overall atmosphere are excellent. If the durability of the main character or objects could be enhanced, the gameplay would be even more interesting. Overall, this is a great work.

Thanks for playing, and thank you for the feedback, we plan to keep developing so these are good things to keep in mind! I'll checkout your game too.

nice atmosphere and sounds, cool shading and graphics, object interaction and pathfinding were kind of touchy though, which was sort of frustrating given that it was a speed based game. id also say that the core mechanic of your game being a time trial rushed kind of game conflicts with the nice atmosphere and stuff you had going on. i think a more suspenseful/quiet activity would've suited the art style better. thanks for entering, really nice project overall!

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I kinda see what you mean with the conflict of ideas with the atmosphere, definitely something to think about when we carry on development so thank you for that!
