The shotgun and the rifle didn't realy work and the game doesn't realy fit the theme but it's a nice game.

Interesting one, with cool camera angle. Though I had issue with shotgun not shooting(also no sound effect so maybe it glitched). Also some parts of buildings overlap the player and Ui.

Ambience of the game is nice

Thank you for your play and feedback.

Very Cool!

i love the concept of mixing 3d world with 2d top down shooter. It needs some polish one major area i would suggest is using the collider of ammo as a trigger so they wont block the bullets but all in all great game!

Developer

Thank you. Although many features could not be implemented due to time constraints, I still appreciate your suggestions and feedback.

This game blew me away! The level of detail, innovation, and overall quality make it stand out in every way.

Music was good, but i wasnt able to get any of the other guns working, and it seemed to just show a pistol the whole time. Played through the first night but it didnt seem like there were many zombies at all, and the music was oddly calming

I liked the art and graphics. Shotgun isn't working ig, rifle seems okay but i didn't kill a zombie with that, at least I was outta ammo but spend a lot. Overall, good game! Good job!

I think the game has potential, but i noticed some things that could be improved: the shotgun and the rifle don't seem to do any damage, the ui sometimes clips through the tall buildings, i wish there was some indication that you're damaging the enemies (like a sound, animation or health bar). Sometimes the character would be unable to walk or shoot and i'm not sure what the reason for that was. I do like the blend of 3d and 2d graphics and the music. I hope you keep improving the game after the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your feedback. I know there are many areas in this game that can be improved or enhanced, but unfortunately, there isn't enough time. Perhaps I should consider the scope of this game more thoroughly.

I loved the music track! Picking up the rifle breaks the game.

i didn't see any storms bro

My game is LITERALLY the word storm

In principle, it's cool, but for some reason I didn't register a hit from a machine gun, but I liked it so much, good job:

Great atmosphere. I encountered a few bugs though. When a zombie walks into a building it simply disappears, HUD rendered behind buildings and sometimes I could not reload nor shoot my gun even though I had plenty of bullets.

Submitted(+1)

I love the design however the zombies wouldnt die so I lost early

10/10 would get eaten by the invincible horde again

Submitted(+1)

Good idea, game feels good to play. Some sort of objective instead of just surviving would have been cool, also the prep phase seems a bit long.

Small issue: The HUD is not always on top, i.e. it can be obstructed by the high buildings.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, but I made the UI an object by vibrating it in order for it to follow the camera as well, that's why it's being obscured by the object, and I haven't found a suitable way to deal with this at the moment

Not sure how Unity handles this sort of stuff, but you should be able to have a HUD / UI canvas layer that is independent of the game world and is instead drawn on top of the camera view. That way it should always be on top and visible (and stay in the same place on the screen).

Art design is great, top down, 3d mixed with 2d, great lighting

preparing was fun but lasted a little long

my gun did little to nothing to the zombies, i got stuck when they grabbed me and nothing happened

ticking clock is a great audio device along with the threatening music

Submitted(+1)

I like the art style but maybe its coz i am dumb but i cant seem to shoot and my character gets stuck when attacked

Submitted(+1)

Lovely concept, but I have some issues with the camera - borders are cropped and full screen does not work:(

Submitted(+1)

I loved the 2D design combined with the 3D buildings. The art was cool, and the soundtrack really helped me feel immersed. The only thing I missed was some responsiveness when damaging the zombies—maybe a blood effect or something. Anyway, good job!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. There were many features in the game that were cut due to time constraints, which I also find very regrettable.

I liked your mix of 3D and pixel art! I also liked the game more as the days passed. I struggled at first because I didn't know what to do, but I started to love it once I got into the night/day system. Well done!
