Cool idea! Robbing people of their doomed belongings. It was interesting to make choices, do I keep looting or do I run before the tornado catches up to me. The movement felt really sluggish though, would've liked it more snappy.
Very hard, but a very fun idea.
I may need to get used to movement system here cause I keep bumping and slipping while jumping on platforms.
That being said, I got 51 score as my best haul.
I managed to get 43 points! I think the tradeoff between greed and safety is interesting. If I were to get to change something, I'd probably try to add some more variety to the platforming.
Thanks for the game!
Great game! I love how the difficulty of the houses ramps up as you get closer to the end. Could do with some more SFX or music during the actual game rather than just intro/outro.
Damn this one is good!
1) the concept is simple, but fits the theme well, its time based and platform puzzle based in the best way possible
2) the risk reward mechanic is there, tougher chests require tougher jumps, but there is a looming danger that fits on theme. Better chests are different colors, nice visual indicator
3) incentive to replay to keep raising your score
4) even a fun little cinematic at the beginning
5) the humor lands
6) What I would like to see. Music that grows from calmer to more excited as the game goes on and have the art pop a bit more
Great work!
A fairly fun idea and setup for a decent platformer. The movement feels very responsive and smooth. This game would highly benefit from a larger level variety or even a procedural endless mode. I also felt like the impending danger of the storm wasn't enough, it would be cool to see some objects flying towards the tornado that the player should dodge.
