How does your game fit the theme?
Both literally (the upgrade room is the calm before the storm) and in a fun way (you drive C.A.L.M. into the storm).

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All 3D models and voice lines are made from scratch.
We used DOTween and QuickOutlines, but the rest of the code is written from scratch.

Very nice! 👍

Very impressive to have all this done so quickly.  nice work.  Really excellent and quite polished.

I wish the starting speed was a little higher and the tutorial presented me with an impenetrable wall that was confusing.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! Yeah, maybe reducing the costs for some upgrades would make the game feel more fast paced.

The level of polish is crazy for a short game jam like this. This is clearly not your first game! The tutorial was well thought out, but a couple of comments (apologies if some others have said similar):

- In the early game, especially for a game jam, it's a bit brutal to have to collect huge amounts of scrap. Offering a smaller upgrade for less scrap would be a nice "reward" early in the game

- I understand that moving the ship is not meant to be fast or snappy, and that's part of the challenge, but for me it just felt a little too "loose"

Otherwise, I think this game has great potential. Amazing that you guys did all these assets in such a short time!

Looks a very good game, I like the voice, but I think the tutorial is a bit too long!

Looks great and polished. The gameplay feels a bit grindy but for a jam that's a very solid submission especially since you did all the graphics. Did you record the voice lines or you generated them?

Developer

We recorded all the voice lines and edited them in Audacity. I think we could tweak the costs for upgrades so it feels a little less grindy .Thank you for your input and for playing our game!

Pumping this out in 7 days is quite the achievement! I usually like to give some constructive feedback, but for me this is a homerun. Great work!

I agree with you!

The graphics are gorgeous, they are incredible for something made in 7 days.

Would have loved some kind of challenge or new things to do other than get scraps and upgrade tho.

Also, I don't know if I'm the problem, but progression is very slow, it takes a lot of runs to a considerable amount of upgrades.

Other than that the interpretation of the theme is very original, well done.
