How does your game fit the theme?
Short Circuit perfectly fits the theme by focusing on the struggle between technology and the environment. Players place machines to charge their mech suit, but these machines are vulnerable to rain, which causes them to break down. The challenge is to manage and repair these machines while preparing for a final showdown against Zeus. The game embodies the clash between human ingenuity and relentless natural forces.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, me and my team made the assets and code for this game

Played all the way through and liked it a lot.

There were a couple rough edges such as sprites that should be on the background (like blood) being over others (like trees) and being able to shoot on the end scene (after the fight) but nothing big.

The music was great (I actually turned it up by a lot), intro went hard, it really was calm before the storm and visuals were charming :)

I liked the art. I also always like games involving killing some sort of god.

Omg the audio and text storytelling was spot on, great job with writing and the text fade-in and out. Music was awesome, the imagination of the game was a lot of fun, I wasn't super sure what was going on all the time but I didn't really care, and the boss battle at the end was a really fun surprise. Great job! (also really cool font)

Really neat idea! You worked the theme in really well with this "engine building" style game.

A simple and pleasant game, with cool art and premise. Good tutorial and solid fundamentals for a game loop.
Suggestion: Inverse the colour for areas where you can build, as highlight associates better with permissions (or add a highlight to a building being hovered over place where it can be built).

It's great that you had a  tutorial, and it was made great! Also nice work on the camera

Thanks! There should be text telling you how to play the game. Is it not showing up?

I love the way you introduce the player to the game. It really grabbed my attention, and I was fully immersed. I also like these sorts of grindy games where you build tons of stuff and need to keep it up and running. The part with killing the pigs is pretty brutal, though…

Overall Great game!!

I really like the concept of this so far and its a lot of fun. Few issues I noticed that could make it a lot better:
1. After I had access to the generator (I think that's what it is?) my production rate went up really quickly and I had no reason to buy windmills anymore. Maybe scaling the cost slightly each time you buy something would be good so you have more reason to buy both
2. Not sure how it works but I think I reached a cap on how much I could buy at some point? Would be good to have a way of showing this so I know why I can't buy anything else (or maybe this is unintended)
3. I loved the Zeus fight but I couldn't actually beat him. I'm just not fast enough to dodge any of the lightning bolts and I can't kill him fast enough before he kills me

Sorry the feedback isn't more succinct. This looks like a really cool game though so I'm looking forward to seeing the finished version!
