How does your game fit the theme?
We made a system in which you can build your defences before starting the wave "Calm before the Storm". But the longer you take, more enemies will spawn. So "calm time" is also a resource that affects the gameplay.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

The idea of making the defense harder the longer you plan is so fun! I also liked the feeling of getting super over powered by the end of the level after feeling so on the edge of death at the beginning. Great job, fun game!
