How does your game fit the theme?
During the calm, when the game moves at a slow rate, the player is able to get used to the gameplay. Then, the storm hits, as the lunch rush causes faster gameplay, challenging the player right as they get the hang of things.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, some sound effects were made by others. Everything else, including the code, was made by me.

Had a good time with the albeit broken difficulty. A very unique idea that I think can work on a smaller scale diner rush type game!
I think instead of a big text field where you type all the customer's order, you can use a small dialogue box above the customer's head and the player just needs to type that out to repeat the order
Overall had a stressfult great time!
Thanks for playing. I think the dialogue box idea could work, just with the problem that the font might be too small if I make the entire order fit in the small box. I'll consider it though.
To anyone who has played or is planning on playing this game:
I messed up... While doing the final playtest I tweaked the settings up really high. What I forgot to do was turn them back down. After the jam is over, the values will be changed back and the game updated. Thank you to chatnoir95 for bringing this to my attention. (-_-;)
I'll also change some other aspects, such as the art, and add new features. If you'd like to play it in the future when it's fixed, it is and will be free, forever.
Hi just checking in, I've played the game before when it had the issues that was pointed out. Has it been fixed yet? If it has I'll be more than happy to give it another go
Hi, it hasn't been fixed. I don't plan on fixing it until the rating period ends, because technically you can still play the game. I'll fix it after, and you can play it then if you're still interested.
game look cool, but as a simple mortal human, I can't test it properly ;'(
Oh, I see why everyone was saying it's too hard...
Hee-ho. Interesting game
Liked the idea but not sure if I was doing something wrong but I essentially lost within 10 seconds each time.
Hey!
I have about 100 WPM, and this was too hard :( The music was great, and I tried many times just to make it through one rush hour, unfortunately I wasn't able to.
Don't be discouraged though! The base game looks fine. I recently tried to create a typing game, and it's no easy feat! (at least for me...)
Cheers!
I see, well thanks for trying it! I have much less than 100 wpm, but maybe it's just that I'm used to the gameplay. I'll look into reducing the difficulty curve after the rating period.
Not sure if it's a problem on my end or I'm just Bad At Games (I know you mention it's supposed to be incredibly difficult), but the game ran far too quickly for me. I couldn't really make any progress in the 5secs I had bettween hitting play and failing.
I see, I could tell while making the game that it was really difficult, but I guess it's harder to know how hard a game is as the dev... Thanks for the feedback though
