This is one of only a small handful of Unity games where I get strange audio crackling issues unless I change the audio device I'm using. In case it might help, I notice it could be because there's some edge cases for audio on Unity versions 2022.3.x. Earlier versions (like 2022.3.9) may even go so far as to affect Desktop builds, where later versions (like 2022.3.44) might only affect the Web version. I am curious which Unity version you used.

There's a really specific thing it might do, even when it doesn't crackle, where the audio replays the last 2 seconds of audio over and over again when no longer focused on the game. I'm curious of the cause, but the only thing I can think of is I might avoid these specifc Unity versions since I saw some people were more likely to complainabout arbitrary audio issues even I didn't get on a game made in the 2022.3.x Unity version.

As for the gameplay itself I really enjoyed the build and storm phases and you did a really nice job on this!

I loved this game! The artstyle is very cute, both 3D and 2D! Nice game <3

very neat game, loved that you can click on structures to produce stuff faster. also had the problem with the storm music playing through the entire playthrough, but that was the only major issue i found. very addicting gameloop. nice job!

This game looks very polished for a jam, I loved it. Once I understood the resources system it was kinda addictive. And that was a cool way to interact with the storm. One thing is that after the first storm, the storm music keeps playong even in the calm moments, which in fact had an impact and made the experience a little less enjoyable, as the sound doesn't fit. Also, I think maybe getting bricks is a little bit too slow. But I don't know, that has to do with the balance of everythign. Still a very good entry! And loved the graphics.

Yeah, sorry about that. We didn't get to finish tuning the music before the end of the jam. That happens after the first set, though. After that, it should all be good. According to my idea, based on the "calm before the storm" theme for the jam, the music should get more relaxed and chill after the storm until it totally fades away, and then it starts suddenly when the storm hits.

Thanks for the feedback!

A nice little relaxing build game, your game looks really good, and the storm mechanic is so polishes and snappy it was a ton of fun just pushing the storms around. I initially got confused about the building so built 10 lumber mills thinking they just passively made lumber, but that may have just been me misreading the tutorial ;)

Impressive job ! The gameplay had a nice charm, but I felt it could pick up the pace a bit for a more engaging experience. Overall, a solid submission that kept me entertained—well done!
