The concept was fun and original! It was a pain to handle the cubes though, often when trying to place them, I ended up throwing them, and if I were holding them, they would shrink even under the parasol (touching the transparent green-ish circle).
I found the concept and gameplay fun! It was quite short, but fun nonetheless!
I felt as if some markers pointing towards the shop would be a good addition, because I did get lost a bit, (and some sound would have also been cool), but it is still fun!
i enyojed exploring the city. Some colliders felt a bit off. I liked the look of the game. Almost every asset fit together nicely!
I am wondering, how did you make the rain?
Really creative concept with the sugar cubes! Exploring the map was fun, but a 'put down' option would definitely help with handling them. The umbrellas not fully protecting the cubes made it trickier than expected. Great environment design—looking forward to seeing more!
Really creative concept with delivering the sugar cubes! I enjoyed exploring the map and figuring out the best path, but I had some trouble with the mechanics. A 'put down' option would make handling the cubes a lot smoother, and the umbrellas not fully protecting the cubes made it trickier than expected. Despite that, I liked the design of the environments, especially the store area. With a few tweaks and polish, I think this could become a really fun and unique game. Great work!
also can you review our game? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for playing the game,
There is a put down option but you really need to look at your feet sorry. And we did an update but we will put it after the Jam if you want to retry.
I like the idea, but the cubes slide too much to actually be able to effectively pull it all off. A drop button might help with that! Nice work with all this though!
Interesting concept by protecting the sugar cubes, the gameplay its a little bit hard, the environment is cool. Nice game :)
Very laggy on browser. Needs more optimisation.
Pretty cool environments though.
This is a fun delivery mission game. The beginning was pretty confusing, I ended up exploring the whole level first to figure out where I was supposed to go. From there I had a good time figuring out that I could skip a lot of the level by jumping over a fence! Once I has mapped out the level, it was fun to navigate around. I didn't see a score listed at the end, but I was able to get all 4 cubes through.
I would have liked to have a "put down" option, several times I walked up under an umbrella and tried to drop the cube, only to have it fly out from under me and take some rain damage. Also, when I stood under an umbrella holding a cube, it still got wet. perhaps this was intentional?
Glad you had fun and explored the map ! Have you seen anything odd? Perhaps an extinguisher...
Sadly the score and the holding under an umbrella were bugs ! (amongst others) and were present during the final export.
If you look down enough, there is a "place" action, instead of "throw", but that feature is a little bit buggy, it has a tendency to make sugar disappear...
Thanks for playing and the comment !
at that hint, I went back and explored the map deeply to find the extinguisher, must've taken me 5 minutes! I can't figure out if I'm supposed to be able to do anything with it, though
Loved the concept of the game as a whole. However, the game was a bit hard to play, with picking up the sugar cubes being a tough process, let alone getting four at once all the way to the store. The winding roads were a bit confusing with not many distinguishing features, but the map elements that were there were well designed. I especially like the store and the placement of the sugar cubes once they made it to the store as an idea, despite the execution being a little off. I was unable to figure out how to finish the game, and had to restart a few times due to not being allowed to pick up any sugar cubes any more.
All in all, I loved the idea of the game and would love to see it developed further! Great start to a future minigame.
