Really pleasing and beautiful art!
Good work :)

Somehow this game lured me in and I was pleasantly surprised! It satisfies my sci-fi thing of having multiple flying ships move about and shoot at each other, so you did that part well! Also, the choice of flat design, with couple of shades from the same color range proves you're experienced in delivering a visual atmosphere. Font seems to fit too, I like it! You did a fine job under the deadline, and it's mostly because you seem to know what you're doing right from the start :D It was a matter of implementing it all, which you pulled off in harmony!

The only thing that lacked was the audio from the shots maybe? Or idk, the rain was dominant and that's about it.

P.S. I like the idea, that only you can convert the wisps, and your converted wisps can merely kill the other dark wisps. Makes me think that I have the power to give purpose to life, while they are merely blindly killing each other.

Great visual style! Fun to play game. Nice idea of the wisps turning to the light side ;)! Fun to play.  Bit more sound or a back ground music would add to the overall ambiance. Good job for this game jam :)!

The artstyle is gorgeous and the game manages to build an atmosphere right from the start yet alone because of the looks of the start screen. The gameplay is fun too. But - I played the browser version and I was only able to move by dashing. Somehow the input of WASD or Arrow keys didnt have much impact. Is it a bug or did I do something wrong?

Developer

I've once encountered that problem too, but after refreshing the webpage, it worked fine again.

Was quite fun to play. You saying that this game is in early development is surprising because it looks really polished and maybe even finished.

The things that should be worked on more though is the audio and animation.

The wings moving was great, although the tweening (Atleast I think it's tweening) can be worked on more so it would be like a sine in and out than just going at one steady speed.

Ambient audio were fine, but maybe a little bit of music would've been a +1.

Quite an original idea in this jam!

Good job!

Thanks for the comment and the idea!

Maybe now I'm not an early game developer anymore :p

This is my first 7 days jam, I still can't figure out what can I do in one week at the start of the jam. I was focused in tweaking graphics at first, until I realize that I should be doing something else with my game at that time. Then at the end, I can't add the sounds because of the deadline.

But luckily because the gam still feels fun to play!

Wonderful game concept. Absolutely stunning artwork. This game seems to be one of the favourites in this game jam. You have done an amazing job. Props.

Developer

Wow, I didn't expect that! Thanks!!

I like this art style and the dimensional background style. Very cool. Also Great UI and instruction parts. If you can build in webGL i guess more amazing user would like to play. BTW, audio is single if you can make one BGM combine with the sound effects would be better. Any way I like this game so much~

Developer

Thanks for the suggestions!!
I will try to make the webGL version soon then.

I managed to kill 36 whisps. Pretty fun game despite the repetitiveness: only one level and one type of enemy. The vectorial graphics look very nice, the sound of the rain fits well the mood and having an army of whisps is satisfying. I found a small bug in the How To Play section. The back button is a bit weird, I can only click on BA but not CK.

Thank you for the feedback!

Actually in this jam, I just wanted to try various tricks in Unity to answer my curiousity on how to make a nice and smooth looking graphics. So, I just managed to make one level with everything mixed up, and I'm happy with the result because I got the ideas.

Thank you, I'm so happy to hear it!
I've played your game too and had fun playing it, loved the sound and animation especially when the character dies :D
