In what way does your game fit the theme?
In every way, a cassette rewind and shotting film to get to a reminder and record another level :D

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did! :D

This game was really good! i really liked the art style and the effects at some parts. The only problem is, sometimes the  "hookshot" swinging felt weird

Great game, however, when shooting the tape i have a lot of trouble hooking on and the swinging didn't fell very good. In my opinion the static overlay is a bit too much but i see the aesthetic. Loved the game

The game was really good. The visuals and the audio was really great. The addition of the static effect also made it feel more like a tape. The controls were good except some parts where the Jump won't register but overall, it felt great to control. The only negative comment from is that shooting reels feels very awkward. You should make it like the double jump from Ori and The Blind Forest like the reel should shoot in a direction and not to a point. Apart from that, great game.

Could you please take the time to rate my game too? Its not as good as yours but it would meana lot to me if you rated my game too.

I enjoyed the art and the game. There were a few instances I felt I couldn't jump or make jumps. I used both arrow keys and WASD, and I got double jump. I couldn't tell if that was intentional based on the tutorial text given. Either way, it was interesting, and I enjoyed it.

I love the theme and style, but it was super hard to grab an orb to swing on while jumping. Other than that, nice game!

Fun game! The art style was quite nice, I did have a bit of difficulty actually being able to aim at the orbs, other than that the game is brilliant.

I've never known before that I wanted to play a retro Spiderman game, and yet I always have :D Awesome submission!

Liked the concept, swinging was hard tho? Good job!

Nice platformer. In the swinging it is little hard to use the mouse as well. And the purple lines on the background a little irritationg for the eye. Probably lighting the color (or probably it is just me :) ) Great entry!

Really great platform puzzler, a lot of fun and satisfying to swing, I don't know if I missed it but I didn't see the tutorial for the swing so it took me a while to figure out.

Yooo, that swinging mechanic is sweet, kinda hard to control, but very fun to try and learn, cool game, congrats!
