In what way does your game fit the theme?
Time to Recolor fits the theme of REWIND because one of the major mechanics for solving puzzles in the game is to rewind time, allowing them to travel back to prior locations with new color abilities to pass obstacles. Rewinding is required for every section to acquire the right colors in the right areas. The game is formatted so the player consistently has to backtrack to prior locations - essentially rewinding their progression.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote all the code for this project entirely by myself. All the visual elements were designed by me over the past week, as well as the animations and all other effects. The music and sounds for the game came from OpenGameArt.org and are properly credited within the project.

Nice game, but I got an error halfway through the game, so I gave up earlier.

The rewind mechanic is well programmed and adds to the puzzle element. I also like the vector neon art style.

I think the controls are clunky and hard to control, as the jump does not have the conserved  momentum when you sprint. The walk and run speed is a little too slow for my liking. But other than that, it's a fine game!

Edit: played web version

I appreciate the feedback on the controls, it's definitely something I'd like to improve for future 2D projects of mine as I agree the speed control is a little off. Thanks for playing!

woops sorry, my antivirus flagged it as risk

Most antivirus's do dislike executables in general, my game definitely isn't a virus though. Here's a WebGL port if you'd still like to play and rate my game: https://phantomdonut.itch.io/time-to-recolor-web-port

didn't know there was webgl, thanks for showin

It's a cool game, had fun playing ot, really cool concept of creating puzzles with the use of colors and rewinding, nice job :). I also made a game too with some friends, so if you want to play it it would be awsome, its short so don't worry :))

The game looked really nice, but I feel like the player movement was too slow even with the sprint. Even then, it was a fairly enjoyable experience. Good job!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. It's nearly impossible to get lost in there and that adds a lot to the game. Good job.
