In what way does your game fit the theme?
You can rewind time.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes all. I used a modified brackeys 2d movement script. from my other game.

I like the Portal-inspired vibes you have here. The graphics are cute and controls work well too, except for some Unity platforming jank. I really think your game has a lot of potential- the rewind mechanic combined with falling cubes and buttons is something worth exploring. I would try new things too- maybe certain objects are immune to rewinding, or maybe they act differently each time they are rewinded. The text to speech was kind of funny, but consider replacing it with just text. You are taking a lot of inspiration from Portal, and although that can sometimes be a good thing, you may be limiting yourself to certain ideas and mechanics. I really want to continue playing this game because there are endless possibilities, so please consider developing this further post-jam! If it's not too much trouble, I would really love a review on our game if you have the time!

Nice game! Shame you don't have enough time for more levels, but it's still a really neat demo!

Developer

Some other people on a discord wanted to see more of this so I might continue it

Very nice, I can see the Portal inspiration for this game :)

Not quite sure if I reached the end or not, there was a point where a wall stopped me from going any further, but I could also see another portal on the other side...

Developer

yeah you reached the end. And yeah I love portal it did inspire me for some parts of the game

This game can build up to be a very cool concept, so at least you tried with your limited time.  I didn't manage to get to the end because my path was blocked so I can't tell how much more game there is.

If you had fun making it and you were able to submit it I would count it as a victory. There are more game jams available, try to participate in one when you have the extra time.

Developer

Thanks!

I agree with the other comments. I love puzzle type games and think you have something to build on

Thanks!

Considering you didn't have much, you did a good job. I'd appreciate a way (in-game) to quit the game though.

Developer

Thanks!
