The word rewind means to go back.So in my game the player can only go back.

I wrote all the code.All the assets are mine apart from the music.

Really clever take on the theme, restricted controls can be a nightmare if done wrong but they are handled really well here.

You kept it simple but leaned into your ability it seems. I think in time that will really pay off for you. Don't be afraid to pull in assets from the internet. No one will judge you nor do you have to make everything yourself. That being said, I think your headed in the right direction. Keep it up!

though i get stuck on the upper platform of the 2nd level

Fun puzzler! There were a couple levels that got the cogs going
cool game! I got stuck some times though when I got to a wall and couldn't move. Other than that, I really like the movement and how the player jumps. good mechanics!
I escaped! I enjoyed how fast the player moved, it made it feel very arcade like.
