Really Enjoyed! I loved the story that you gave to the game, which really made it stand out. Also, the puzzles and level design are on point! My one suggestion would be to make it a little bit easier to tell which traps are about to fire, as I ended up dying to traps I forgot were about to fire a lot more than I'd care to admit :P. Overall though, I thought this was a really awesome entry!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Canda will activate the power she has stolen after every three move, rewinding the time of her enemies while moving forward with the same moves but in a reverse order.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code is written during the game jam but assests are taken from the web.

Excellent game, really cool. I enjoyed it a lot. This game is very well done. The level design is excellent, the audio is great, and I havent found any bugs or issues. Excellent job :D
Please check out my game, if you still have some time left
Honestly I just couldn't figure it out. One reason may be the fact that I Kinda skipped over the rules a bit and shoulda took more time to read it a bit more so I had to kinda figure it out myself but otherwise I just thought it was tough and didn't put to much too much time into it is all, But I will say that when I completed other levels it felt very satisfying and accomplishing. Also in a puzzle game like this maybe you could add consumables that would give you a hint or something, for people like me who tend to get stuck when playing puzzle games :)
Definitely a mind-bender! Polished, interesting, and easy controls. Great work!
Very difficult but interessting little puzzler you created there. I am not playing puzzlers that often, but i struggled at the beginning, using the mechanic right. After a few failures I got it, but still very challenging! Really like the artstyle, its fitting. Good job!
Interesting puzzler and take on the theme. The explanation is a bit hard to follow but you give enough time to play the game itself to get a feel for what is happening. Very challenging to say the least. Nicely done
I'll do my best but perhaps this is one of those instances where it is better to show than tell.
From what I understood while playing I think the instructions might read like:
"Each step you take is recorded up to 3 moves move. After the 3rd move the recorder steps are played back automatically moving you. This movement is played back in reverse moving you opposite to how you move." (Or maybe I misunderstood the last part and it simply paybacks back your last 3 moving from last to first)
Again, it might just be easier to explain as you play, which you do just needs different words, and emphasize that you automatically move in a given direction depending on how you moved while the moves where being recorded.
Hope that helps
Very original game with a unique rewind mechanic. I consider it very difficult if you're not used to it, but not frustrating, which is good. Great submission.
I've found the difficulty itself in the rewind mechanic, which is not very intuitive, so you have to force your thinking arround it. In my case I reached the last level and I left there, but in particular the level difficulty is fine if it's the last level, with more time to invest it shouldn't be a problem. In particular, I was stuck near the exit:
Really cool game, I especially liked your art and music, but the idea was also quite interesting. At first it was hard to understand, but if you do, it's really easy to get sucked into really fast. I unfortunately got stuck in the level with wizards, no idea how to get past that (; , but from what I've seen, great submission, keep it up!
Great concept and really good execution. The forward/rewind function is quite fun to wrap your head around. Only thing I would add is make the spike traps fields visible somehow also when they are not active. It's very frustrating to land on them, keeping the forward steps in mind while also remembering all the trap locations can be a bit much, especially at the last level. But apart from that it was a lot of fun!
So challenging! I didn't understand exactly how some traps work but i finished it anyway, good work
The laser is the most obscure for me. I felt a bit counterintuitive that while I do the last move forward the others go backwards but I get used to it.
The spikes appearing from nowhere when you walk on them killed me a lot but that could be a design choice so it's ok. I realised too late that walking on extended spikes is safe because they are retreating in the next turn, it was the missing piece for exiting the last room.
If this was on Gameboy advance back in the day I would've spent many hours playing! Loved it!
This was super a super great puzzle game. If this was on a phone, I'd play it for hours. Lots of fun!
This is a really well made puzzle game! I initially became confused as to why the bullets on some of the enemies were going backwards but I soon realised it was to do with the rewind mechanic. This could be fixed quite easily in a post jam version just with some visual effects showing that the enemies are rewinding as well as the player. Really cool game overall and I hope you continue working on it after the jam!
I loved it, I was unable to pass the last level but was so fun, and gived me those 2000 cellphone games vibe idk, favorite so far
Amazing game , love the level design and its gets easier once you practice. Love the skeleton design and the main character looks like Katarina from league of legends. Thanks alot for the help in chat also. Great job guys! Keep it up.
